It’s okay
Not sure why this thing has such raving reviews, I’d say the only two things it has going for it are that it looks decent from afar and was under $310… It did show up a day early, so kudos to the seller & driver on that. Was very overwhelming in the initial unboxing, and def a time-consuming build, but still went together easily enough. I think anyone could do it as long as you have someone to help move the box — def a 2 person lift/slide. This is an EXTREMELY cheap piece of furniture, I think for $300 you can get something a little better at IKEA. (In fact the $180 dresser I wanted over this one IS way nicer, but it stays sold out…but honestly kind of mad i spent $120 more on this thing instead of waiting) It doesn’t wobble, so i won’t have to toss it, but still looks and feels VERY cheap. The surface/texture is that cheap porous textured stuff you’d find in an office or some commercial building, and I ordered in white so it came with handprints all over it from the factory that won’t come off, and there are touch up paint smudges on the sides where the predrilled holes were installed. I’m thinking I’ll need to take the handles back off and just give it a good spray of white lacquer to smooth it out and cover up all the stains/touch up paint. Two different parts of it arrived broken, but I was able to repair with a caulk gun of construction grade Gorilla Glue - hoping that holds up over time, although I’m sure none of this thing will. If you’re buying this thing to go in a kids room, college apartment or rental property, I say go for it. But if you’re an adult looking for a decent modern piece that will last, keep saving and pony up for something nicer cos this isn’t it.

Easy to assemble, not so great quality
I bought this dresser mostly for the looks and dimensions, as it fits perfectly against a half wall in my bedroom and doubles as a TV stand. Pros: -It was very easy to assemble which is pretty much the best thing about it. -It looks nice from afar Cons: -The drawers have a mechanism that basically "lock" it in place when closed. It requires far too much force to open and close the drawers from that "locked" position. -One of the drawers requires way more finessing to close than the others, which is also quite annoying. -There are little blemishes and spots with paint missing throughout, though luckily you can't really seem them from afar. -Two of the handles screw holes were stripped so I'm left with a 6 drawer dresser with 4 handles. -It also attracts fingerprints like mad and they seem impossible to clean off, even on the black version. Conclusion: I would not recommend this dresser at this price point. I've had furniture from IKEA that might have been a little more difficult to put together, but was better quality overall. I should have listened to the bad reviews and just kept looking for something else. I was just hoping I'd get lucky and get a unit without any issues. Learn from my mistake.

Shipping / Delivery Really Affects Product
6 Drawer Version, very pricey and have to agree with another reviewer that if it wasn't so much of a hassle to dissemble and return I most likely would have. Box arrived and by all appearances looked in good shape, got it laid out on floor opened it up, and right away screws are scattered throughout the box and a lot of the Styrofoam was broken and everywhere. Ok not to worry I thought looks intact. As I started pulling pieces and setting aside like any well organized Ikea builder is used to, I found that the pieces were .. dusty and tarnished like its been sitting for a long time. Fast forward to putting together, everything is going smoothly until the front piece, the very visible but fragile front section that outlines the drawers. Cracked in the upper right hand corner. At this point in the process of cleaning every piece and then finding a broken piece I was pretty upset since this is a 400 dollar dresser. By this time though its almost all the way put together and this thing is not a lightweight, you do pay for sturdiness for sure. I am not sure who to blame for the mishandling as like I said it seems this unit has sat for a long period of time in a warehouse maybe moved 50 times and by the time it got to me just old and front piece is broken, cant say at all that I am happy with this 400 dollar dresser but I will do some manual repairs and stick with it. Also the bottom middle leg that holds this up is not very sturdy and will come off easily. Drawers are not the greatest even though they are full ball bearing drawers I find they only open about 3/4 of the way which .. its just a pain. Sturdiness 9/10 - overall value for 400 bucks 6/10.

Really solid, incredibly easy to put together.
This ended up being more "heavy duty" feeling than I expected. It's very sturdy feeling and well made. The weight of the box made me dread putting it together, but it ended up being incredibly simple. It feels well thought out in that it avoids some of the tedious assembly steps you get with other "flat pack" furniture, which is really nice. The instructions are short and simple, but clear enough. I saw some other reviews mention getting scuffed/damaged parts with their unit and indeed, mine does have a few blemishes including one of the metal drawer handles being scratched up a fair amount. For the price, size and overall build quality of the unit it isn't something that bothers me a great deal, but it might be something worth keeping in mind.

A bit pricey but the quality is high
Very easy to assemble. High quality materials and hardware. Was packed very thoughtful: no damage occure during delivery. Very satisfyied. Just one thing to pay attention to: it is VERY heavy.

Maybe I Just Got A Bad One
I read the reviews for this product before purchasing and overall they seemed quite good, which is why I used the headline I did. I'm not going to get nit picky about this, I'm just going to go for the main issues. 1. I found the instructions misleading. I put it together minus the drawers once and had to take it apart and put it together again. That was annoying but I kind of expect the instructions with flat packs to be a bit of a challenge. The main issue for me was that the drawers didn't fit. I don't know if the metal sliders were off or it was an issue with the drawer release but I could not get the drawers in at all. In the end a carpenter friend, removed the metal parts that are supposed to allow your drawer to slide in and replaced them with similar parts he got at Home Depot and everything was good. It looks great. Maybe the one I got was defective.
