Comfortable & Waterproof

I bought these to use, walking and hiking in a wet climate, and on the sand. First of all, these shoes are really comfortable. I have trouble with my feet and wore these for two weeks straight and no issues at all. I was on beaches, and even in the water by mistake, and they never got wet on the inside. I 100% recommend these.

Most durable / best pair of work shoes I ever owned.

For the past few years I have been looking for work shoes that are waterproof, light and durable. I spent 100s of $ on shoes that are light and waterproof but not durable. Im very happy with these shoes, the sizing is great since I am around US 12-12.5 but most brands only offer 12 or 13 either too small or too big so a size 12 was perfect. At work I have to walk down a small ramp with a dolly of nitrogen cylinders with a wall few feet ahead, first time having these shoes on I was surprised at the level of traction and how I was able to stop mid ramp (before I'd get dragged down by the dolly). Definitely buying another pair.

Toe box

Very well constructed/good quality shoes. Overall comfortable except Toe box area a little tight especially if you have bunions. I am having them professionally stretched in that area and hopefully that will help.

Too narrow in toe box

I own several pairs of echo shoes and I'd always been a fan of Eccos as I thought they were well made and very comfortable. I suppose the construction quality is okay on this pair too. However, Ecco doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to size their shoes consistently worth a damn. It's almost as if no two pairs of size 12's by Ecco are the same size either. This particular shoes are some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had in my life. I read they ran somewhat narrow, so I even opted for the next wider size up. Despite that, they are still ridiculously narrow, especially in the toe box.I've owned them for about 6 months now and they just have never broken in or gotten any better despite walking probably 100 miles in them so far. These are essentially the type of shoes that you hear about later on in life that likely require people get corrective foot surgery to recover from. I just wish I could get my money back.

Worth the money!

Ecco is a quality brand these are my 3rd pair of their shoes. I have a couple if leather shoes that are business casual for work love them and get compliments. You can see the quality looking at them and feeling the materials. With the quality of the shoes you can wear them all day. I purchased the goretex shoes and they are awesome. Snow and waterproof, comfy and their great with gym clothes or street clothes or dress them up

I ordered two pairs and both of them have problems!!! As you see in the pics

I bought this shoes, and when I opened the box, I found that the seams aren’t correct, so I ordered a replacement, again the replacement item also has problem ! I don’t understand is it original ECCO shoes!

Comfortable and sturdy

I am happy to order Ecco shoes online knowing they are invariably of high quality, smart and hard wearing. Their sizing is consistent throughout their range, which means I don’t have to worry about their fit. These particular shoes are wonderfully supportive, have a good strong grip and are perfect for dog walking in our surrounding countryside.

New favourite trainers!

I read in some reviews that they were not great for wide feet … like my size 10 pancakes however I went with them as have Ecco golf shoes and have found them comfortable. So I went with these and LOVE them. Comfortable and they fit fine. The laces are fine and being a lazy slipper on of trainers Im gradually getting them softened up so they slip on without loosening the laces.. The sole pattern is not what im used to but Im thinking about buying a second pair I like them so much ! A good choice methinks :)

Soles split within 5 months

These ecco's were the latest in a long line of attempts to conquer what now appears to be an insurmountable challenge: find a pair of walking shoes durable enough to last more than 2 years of casual use. Know that I'm not a professional long-distance walker. I'm a 100 kg male walking 20 km (about 48,000 steps) per week on mainly flat country roads and tracks. Since 2017, Merrell, Salomon, Berghaus, Reebok, Puma - twice. (I know.) All failed. ecco is a decent Danish brand, I read. They value durability in Denmark, I convinced myself. So I purchased these ecco's new in late September 2022 for £88. Both soles had split by early March 2023, five months later. Onward.
