Got them to clean and wipe the guns down and use on cars and trucks.
They do ok at wiping down the guns and cars but just not what I thought they would be.

We've had these for about a week and I love them! Our little guy has reflux so we can't have enough burp cloths around. With our first son we purchased cloth diapers to use at a local retailer. The first pack we got were a tri-fold cloth. The middle is very thick and the two outer edges were quite a bit thinner. While it was nice to have the thicker, more absorbent area, it was really too thick and awkward to put under unsteady newborn chin (we burp him sitting on our lap while supporting his head with one hand and patting his back with the other). We chose the second set of cloths because they were much thinner and thought they would be easier to place under his chin. Well, those were much too thin and our hand would be soaked after the first burp. These cloths are absolutely perfect for our needs! They have a uniform thickness while still being very absorbent! I can feel a slight dampness on the other side after a spit up (remember he has GERD so there is quite but coming back up!) but my hand isn't actually wet. Some reviews mention they shrink and the ends fray after a few washings . I washed them before using and they did shrink quite a bit but it was an okay thing for me because when I first opened them they were huge and I wondered if I'd made a mistake ordering them. Once I washed and dried them they were the size of the other burp cloths I'd previously purchased. I've washed them a few times since and the ends are fraying a bit on some but not terribly bad. I gave these 5 stars because they are perfect for OUR needs. We purchased these to be absorbent enough for our projectile spit-upping newborn. For as many as we go through in a day and the amount of washings they will see, these cloths are great. Will they make it past 6 months after being washed once a day?...probably not, but I think they are fairly priced keeping that in mind. If you're looking for "pretty" burp cloths they are not the best choice because they will fray and, well, they are white. If your babe spits up like ours, they aren't going to be very white for long anyway.

Best baby product you never knew you needed. Legit. Buy. These. I’m a minimalist mom, I didn’t need any fancy “cute” burp cloths cause let’s be real I’m buying a product to absorb bodily fluid-spit, vomit, pee etc, and to me it doesn’t need a “cute pattern”. I was referred to these by another mom and I said “looks fine and it’s inexpensive, great!” I’ve had these for over six months. Some have loose ends, some got a little wrinkled at the edges but some look perfect. And to me, who cares about the unfinished edges and “they end up looking crinkly at the edges”. It’s picking up gross stuff as long as it can still do that I’m fine with the appearance. I will not stop talking about these to any future momma or current mom. Seriously I’m astonished by how amazing these are. They were great for everything baby related- bib for the newborn phase, burp cloth for reflux spit up, pee during diaper change. But what really sold me on these was during a 3 am feeding I knocked over my very full bottle of water on my coffee table and had just one of these handy. This absorbed THE ENTIRE MESS like those stupid paper towel commercials. I’m a believer. These will forever be my go to and recommendation for all my mom friends. Buy them.

Great burp cloths!
I bought a few packages of these shortly before my son was born, and after using them for four months now, I have to say that I love them! They're quite absorbent, which is good when we have Massive Spit-Up Incidents, and they're soft enough that I can wipe my son's face with them without worry. They're the perfect size, too, to cover up my shoulder when I'm burping him, and also to hold under his chin while he's drinking from the bottle. In a pinch, they also work wonderfully as a temporary changing pad if we're out and about and I have to change his diaper. I definitely recommend getting at least two packages, though. Even with as absorbent as they are, I find myself tossing the used ones into my son's laundry basket at the end of the day when I'm putting him to bed, because they're starting to get just a bit too damp to continue using until they've been washed. Plus, then you have extras for when you end up losing some (as always happens to me!). Overall, a wonderful product! Edited, 04/13/14: After using these for well over a year and as my son has grown, my love for them has not diminished in the least. My son hates having his nose wiped with baby wipes or tissues, but will at least tolerate it when I use one of these. There are usually several scattered around the house, as well as one in his diaper bag, to quickly wipe up any drips from his sippy cup, excessive drool, or failed attempts at drinking from his water bottle. After countless trips through the washing machine & dryer, they are still as soft as when they came out of the package, and nary a stitch has popped. I absolutely adore these cloths and can imagine that I will continue to use them as my son (and any future siblings he may have) grows.
