Sturdy and well made.

This cover lasted for more than a year of rain and snow. Still holding strong. Covered my metal Firepit to keep it from rusting.

Actually waterproof!

After 2 straight days of rain (5 inches) the water did not enter my firepit. I forgot to attach the cover to the pit, so the water pooled inside of the firepit, but this served as a "pool liner" and when I tipped it over all the water came out and my firepit was dry as can be. Pretty surprised considering I paid $14.

Great cover

This cover is perfect for my firepit. It is sturdy and has gone through many thunder showers in the last couple of weeks.

This keeps our fire pit from rusting.

This is the third one of these I have purchased from Amazon. The cover fits nicely. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because the loop on top of the fire pit cover (for lifting it) kept poking holes in the covers. When I ordered the second one I sewed some heavy duty vinyl in that spot, but it slid on the loop and poked a hole beside the vinyl! We still liked the cover and ordered the 3rd one and had the bright idea to put a laundry detergent cup on the loop. Got our fingers crossed that it will work! If not, I will most likely order another one and figure something else out because the cover is attractive and is a perfect fit.

Good Fitting Product

This product is well made. It fits securely over our outdoor fire pit. After about 3 years, it does start losing its water proof effectiveness. We just recently purchased our third one over six years. Still like the product.

Great cover, just wish it was taller

This cover is well made and strong. it has survived a harsh winter with multiple snowstorms. My only negative is that it really needs to be at least 6 inches longer in height, as it barely covers to the bottom dish of the 28" Fire Sense Bon Fire firepit also from Amazon, and this inadequate height of the cover for that particular firepit allowed water to get in the bottom tray and some. rusting occured. The velcro fastener was perfect to keep the cover snug in high winds and bad weather. The material remains pliable even in cold weather and durable in the heat also, with no rips, tears, cracking or fading noticed yet whatsoever. It cleans easily instinct to resist stains from outdoor contaminents. I anticipate quite a few years of use from this cover.

Protection In All Kinds of Weather

I've been waiting to write a review on this cover because I wanted to see how it performs in all types if weather. As of today this cover has been through rain, snow, sleet and crusted in ice for three days straight through our mid-West winter. I took the cover off today and the firepit looks just as good ad the day I first covered it. Totally dry and clean! Much better than the cover that came with the firepit. With the old cover I would of at least had to clean off the granite top. Not with this one. Just remove the cover and light the fire! It also fits perfectly. It's never yet blown off. For the price, I'm impressed. No cover lasts forever. When it's time to replace this one, I'm buying it again. Really. It's a no brainer!
