Love the size and holding ability
I have bought others that don’t hold as well as these do. They are easy to remove but hold the hair in place. The sizes are great.

Take some getting used to but it's a good set that comes with two sizes
I go through phases where I try hair rollers and love them and then decide they are too much work. I liked this set because you get two different roller sizes. I use the larger ones for that back of my head and the smaller ones for creating curls that frame my face. These took me some getting used to since I wasn't sure whether to use them when my hair is wet vs. dry. I found that they worked better with my hair when I used them with drier, slightly damp hair. They are not a perfect hold and I ended up using most of the clips. Speaking of, I love the clips. They are sturdy and well made. When I tried the rollers on dry hair, they worked much better in terms of hold, but for my hair, they didn't really do much in terms of holding a good curl. Overall though, if you are a fan of rollers, these work well.

Takes some practice
This set comes with a lot of rollers, and definitely enough to do a whole head. Reminder - these are for creating volume on dry hair, not for making curls with wet hair. It definitely takes some practice and I wish there were instructions that came with it. After a few tries I was able to do a set without it being a mess.

Disappointed, these have been used!
Okay look, I never ever write negative reviews and hardly ever complain. But these rollers came in a Drybar box that had CLEARLY been previously opened and the rollers had black strands of hair stuck in them. They clearly have been used. Gross!

Gave lots of volume!
So keep in mind when looking at my photos- I've never used hair rollers before and that was my first time. I watched some videos to show me how to use them and I wasn’t perfect at it but I can definitely tell that it worked. These rollers were very good at holding my hair in place. They didn’t rip my hair out either when I was taking them out. I have long very thick hair and it’s usually flat unless I do something to give it volume. I had my hair almost dry and then rolled my hair in the rollers and finished blow drying it. I left them in my hair for about 10 minutes and then pulled them out. You can definitely tell that the rollers gave me volume. I need to practice more on placement of the rollers but at first try, I don’t think they were that bad. I will definitely keep trying until I get better at it but I do feel like the volume these gave me along with some volume and texturizing spray that the volume lasted all day. I also love the alligator clips that came in the set. They are not only great at holding the rollers in your hair but they are good for sectioning off your hair when styling it or just trying to get your hair out of your face.

This Big Hair Besties set is pretty good. It comes with 16 rollers (8 large size, 8 medium size) and 6 hair clips. I'm a huge fan of the clips. They work better than any other clip I've tried. The rollers are bigger in size and work well for me. For reference, I have very fine, thin, long, straight hair. My hair typically has NO volume whatsoever. I have used these when blow drying my hair a few times, and it did give me some added volume. I haven't tried them without added heat. Not sure they would work well for me without heat.

Gentle on hair, great lift!
LOVE THESE. For years I've been using velcro rollers to get some lift at my roots while my hair air dries. These are a big upgrade from the rollers I got from my stylist. The "velcro" is short and doesn't pull hair at all. With the larger rollers I needed to use the included clips (which leave no marks) but the smaller ones stayed in place on their own. The set is huge-there are 16 rollers in all. The small ones nestle inside the larger ones for storage. I only need 5 or 6, so will be sharing with my daughters (who are thrilled). If you want a gentle way to give your hair some lift and soft curl these are a great option!

Stick very well!
I have pretty fine silky hair, and usually have trouble with clips or hair bands staying in my hair. These velcro rollers have really great grip and have no trouble staying where I put them. I’m still trying to finesse how to use them, have no idea how people sleep with them on. Pretty hard, gave me a headache the one time I tried. But for using during the day and blow drying, these are fantastic
