So far so good
My husband starting using this yesterday in his wheelchair. He said it's very comfortable. His back didn't hurt. He is in a wheelchair 24/7 as he is a amputee with Parkinsons an oncoming dementia. Anything I can do to help make him comfortable is ok with me.

Dual gel-bag inserts
Tried several other seat cushion devices and all have their positive sides (so to speak) but never worked exactly the way I needed them to be. So one morning I had this flash and saw myself sitting in that 'blue gel' stuff. That's when I found on Amazon cushions that had a gel insert sandwiched between foam rectangles. The first one I tried was a single gel insert. It worked fine but 'bunched up' on me on one side. Could never really make it flatten back out. Did a bit more research and found out these type of cushions can come with a "dual-bag' seperation gel insert - basically one for each cheek. So far this choice has been the correct answer. No bunching. Also provides great cushion for long-term sitting. Has eliminated pressure sores. Durable. Eliminating the pressure sores was the big one for me. Now it's comfortable sitting and using my computer again.

Good seat
Good seat but wasn't what I wanted. Had one in rehab that was extremely comfy, but this one isn't it. I wanted to use it in a chair to help give me height for getting up and down, and it does that BUT it is not terribly comfortable to sit on. A larger person would, perhaps, find it more comfy for them. It is plenty large for sure.

Comfy!
My office chair was okay, but the height adjustment didn't go as high as I needed for comfort and the padding could be better. This pad did wonders. It blended in perfectly with the black chair. The 18" x 18" pad is just the size of my seat. There's a touch of overhang in the front, but the other option was to go 2 inches shorter, which I felt would be worse. Well made.

too slippery even w/ the ties
Didn't like how slippery the cover was - both sides of the cushion, even tied were too slippery. One slip out of the wheelchair and now it's collecting dust because I can't risk it again.

Ahhhh!
I bought this for this for my father aged in the nineties since I thought he should have the best. He didn't like it. He preferred the old one. Go figure. Instead, I use it in my wheelchair and sit in comfort all day. It is so important to me because I am an avid card player and am immobile for hours at a time. It is like sitting on a cloud.

Very Comfortable. Don't Tie Ties if Possible
Very comfortable chair cushion. Someone could sit on this for hours and still be comfortable. The gel doesn't seem to flatten out over time. It continues to go back to its original position. The chair ties are a good feature however it is worth noting that you cannot fold your wheelchair with the seat on so it is probably best to not tie the ties if possible.

Very comfy
Perfect width for wide walker seats, wedges in nicely, but 18" depth is too long, so excessive overhang. 14" would have been perfect but unfortunately couldn't find that option. The overhang creates a stability issue since the cushion doesn't deflate behind you. It ends up tilting the occupant forward thus quick repositioning is needed for safety. I don't recommend it for walkers but otherwise would give it 5 stars.

Not good, don't waste your money
I bought the 18" x 24" version and there's no gel insert, it's just an inch and a half to two inch (at best) thin memory foam pad. The descriptions are a lie. The foam is not dense and can be compressed fully between two fingers with very little effort. The two different fabrics are both sticky and uncomfortable so it needs a cover. The corners are all irritating since the mildly-stiff fabrics are not filled fully and will poke into my legs.

Don't use for Full Day Use.
I have no idea why "gel foam" has become popular. It just sinks down, compacts and then you have to turn it over to have any comfort. If I was without the use of my arms and legs and had to wait for a health care worker to lift me to use it, I don't even know what to say. Useless if you are over 35 lbs or 15 kg. Maybe even then not for sitting on for more than 30 minutes.

Excellente qualité, confort sans pression.
Coussin acheté pour prévenir le risque de plaie de pression dû à une longue convalescence. Rempli très bien sa fonction. Ne reste pas écrasé et reprend sa forme. D'une grandeur adéquate pour utilisation sur une chaise de bureau, un fauteuil roulant ou simplement comme support supplémentaire sur un divan.
