Strong durable sling for my dad, works well and cheaper than going to the store
Taking care of my dad I'm learning about all these things out there to assist the disabled. I had no idea what a sling was but only that my dad needed one for dialysis as his legs were getting too weak for the nurses to get him into the chair. The social worker gave me a few medical stores that carried slings but they started at around 120$. Unfortunately they weren't open over the weekend and I needed it by Monday. Decided to check Amazon and I said what the heck and bought this one with free one day shipping and get it on the weekend. From the looks of it I was pretty sure it was universal and would work. Luckily it did, no one said anything at the dialysis center with my half price sling and they got my dad into the chair with no issues. The construction of this sling is very good - seems very sturdy and well made. My dad is 5'7" and I got a medium sling. Probably the medium is way too big for my dad who is relatively skinny as well. I can easily see this sling fitting someone much taller than 5'7". In any case a cheap, well made sling that works with the hoyer lift used by Da Vita.

Good quality
I've only been using it a short time, but it seems pretty durable. We had a bigger one that came with the lift and it was durable. I bought this one because the other was too big. Hand-holds on the back are useful. I also like that the loops can be used as hand-holds as well when the sling is under the patient and not fastened to the lift. When my mom is sitting in her chair and needs to be repositioned, I can do so by holding the loops and moving her. The only thing is it's pretty big. I'd order a size down. Another thing is make sure if you have hired caregivers they know how to use this. Many lifts utilize slings that cross between the patient's legs, but this is not one of those. I've had a caregiver attempt to use it sideways, which is a huge safety risk. Also some caregivers don't realize the back loops go on the outside, or how to create a sitting or lying position by using different loops. They just try to memorize the color combination by rote.

Ended 5 year search for the right sling-Very happy!
I am SO happy with this sling! For 5 years I’ve been searching for something to replace an older model sling with metal bars, that is no longer made. The sling we used came down to the knees, longer than any others like it. All of the newer slings with metal bars are shorter in length and don’t hold the patient safely-at least in our case. I have ordered countless slings that didn’t work. This one FINALLY ended the search! It is even longer than the previous one we used. It’s durable, easy to wash and best of all holds the patient safely!!!!

Excellent Product
This Is a well engineered and well made item. It appears to be very durable, but I've only been using it every night for about 2 months. With the "Drive" brand lift, I have used the sling to pick a patient up off the floor, as well as placing her into a regular bed with a 15" mattress and box springs. This sling has multiple-position, color-coded straps that make it easy to select the lift height you want.

It works very well but the hanging tabs are a little stiff. I suppose over time they will loosen up but I do like this sling so much better than the one that came with the hoyer lift. It had metal rods that were would get attached to chains and this sling with the hanging tabs already attached is 100% better than that. I would recommend this. My son is 4 ft and it works perfect for him.

First time hoyer lifters
Love this sling. At first I thought it was way too big but after watching a few YouTube videos and following directions it is perfect for my 96 yr old mother who is 96 lbs and about 5’6”. She fits in it perfectly with head support and is cradled within while sitting up... which makes her feel safe... this was her first time being put in a hoyer lift and my first time using a hoyer lift... it went smooth as butter.

We bought this sling from Drive on Amazon(which only has 4 sling holes to atatch to) which makes it's connection and unnconection VERY EASY! My wife is approx
When we bought the Hoyer lift, it came with a "SIX" loop sling which was a real pain to use! We bought this sling from Drive on Amazon(which only has 4 sling holes to atatch to) which makes it's connection and unnconection VERY EASY! My wife is approx. 200 lbs. and it lifts her with ease. I would from now NEVER buy any other sling made! She says this sling is the most comfortable sling she has ever been in. My thumbs up to Drive on this one!!!

This product worked great. We usually use the sling that came with the hoyer lift, but a family member that works in the medical field recommended we get this one. Wow, it held securely with no slipping or risk of fall, and the fabric it light enough the sling does not need to be removed when sitting on it in a wheelchair. We haven't tried taking it out and putting it back in while in the chair.

Great, sturdy large sling. Straps are quite stiff though, even after washing.
