Great little table but not perfect
Not the easiest to put together but not horrible. Has a bit of a tilt to it, but not world shaking. Doesn't hold a ton of weight. The 40 pound weight limit is 100% true. Overall not a bad product, Love sitting in my tilt up bed with it.

Exactly what I was looking for my PC
UPdate: I have to stand up and down multiple times during the day (I work from home) due to my back problem and this desk was a perfect solution. It's been a month since I start using this as my computer desk. I am using this table up/down at least 10x + day (much often than people who buys this kind of table) with 30 lbs equipment on the top and it is still working well. It's easy to move it up and down as I needed. Very solid construction. I have very bad back problem and I have to stand up from the chair often while I am working. But, sitting down and standing up constantly every hour or so working on PC that are stationed on the regular desk isn't the best situation. While standing up, my back feels better, but looking down on monitor and type while standing up position quickly lead my carpal to flare up and start to have neck pain. One push button ergo-desk would have been the best choice, but cost of those types of desk is over $1000.00 at the cheapest. So, I had to come up with something that would work for my situation without paying too much money. While I was searching for a desk that can easily move up and down I found this table. I look over the description and the size of this table would work for my 'All in one PC" . High rating of the review also help me to purchase this table. But, I wasn't sure if it would really work for my situation. The below, I list my review on this table. 1) It's surprisingly well made desk for the price: I honestly didn't expect it to be study enough to hold my PC and still able to move up/down easily whenever I need to stand up. 2) The powder coded heavy gauge gun metal base looks very attractive too. 3) Very affordable: Cost under $50.00 is big plus. I would have paid more even if I saw this at the store. 4) Putting it together: It's very easy and almost doesn't need to read the instruction, But, I suggest you read the instruction first before start to put it together. There is a screw that you SHOULD NOT remove and it marked clearly with removable label. Also, it indicated on the instruction for this. So, it's good idea to skim through the instruction how to put together. 5) Moving up/down: It's very easy. It springs up very easily and push down with one hand while the other hand control the lever on the side. It wouldn't be an issue if you are using this table as intended. However, if you are using it like I am, as regular desk for All in one PC (heavy - over 25 lbs), You will need a little more effort to pulling the desk up since what is on the top of the table will be heavier than just food tray or laptop. While holding the lever, other hand should help along to bring the table up. Then, release the lever to lock the table's heights BEFORE both hands off from the table. You have to support the weight until height of the table locks. 6) Surface area: This table top size is approx 15" x 30", so it would accommodate large laptop or food tray. 7) Table top is made out of pressed board - MDF- and it's about 1" thick cover with some types of plastic material to wipe the table without damaging the base material. If you are using it as intended for the item (food tray/laptop/books), it wouldn't be an issue. Perfect as is. For me, using this table as mobile work station to hold my All in Once PC, which is much heavier and larger than the laptop, I wanted a little more heavy duty wood that can support my PC. So, I didn't use the tabletop that came with the kit. Instead, I cut plywood (same thickness/size as original piece) and attach it to the table. I also drill the 2" hole on the table for the wires/cords, so all electrical cords can be tucked under the table neatly and I gather it all tied to the metal stand. 8) Wheels: It has 2 locking wheels and 2 regular wheels, but it doesn't stand balanced on carpet. So, I put wheel cup under each wheels and now it doesn't move and table stands firmly on the floor. It's works perfectly for me. If this table would last only a year, I would still buy same table again and use it same way describe above. For the price, you can't go wrong. But, I think this table would last long time. And now, I can get up when my back is hurting by sitting on the chair too long, I just pull up the table all the way and working standing up. When my back feels better, I simply bring the table to my desk level and working sitting down. It's that easy!

Very well made
This had been so awesome to have. I love being able to have a desk for my bed. Especially because I can no longer sit at a desk like I use to. Now I can still get work done without my feet swelling up and have to quit because of having to get my legs raised up. I also use as a vanity. Being able to have my vanity mirror on here, I can do my makeup and hair in comfort. Well worth the price.

Great quality hospital table
My brother bought this for me when I was discharged from rehab to come home to a hospital bed and other medical equipment. This table rolls smoothly and has plenty of room for what I need to do whether it is eating, writing or working on my laptop. Definitely recommend it for purchase for use on linoleum or hardwood floors.

Great for bed or chairs!
I've had one of these type of tables for many years. Got two more for my elderly parents who are living with me now. They use them while watching TV in their chairs and they love them. Quite easy to put together and are easy to move around.

You will need an entire tool box. And two people. And a therapist.
I'm happy for the people who assembled this without problem. I truly am. But when you start out with a plastic molded bit that holds all the parts you need, and somebody has stapled the plastic 15 times to the cardboard underneath (the one with the "guide" as to which part is which) and there is no way to open that packaging without all the parts flying all over the place, you know you're in for a badly designed ride. Then the first instruction comes, which requires you to insert a piece of plastic into a tube and then insert that tube into a another tube, all of which are now about 1 1/2 inches off the ground, and are told to simply SLIDE a bolt through the "aligned" holes... ha ha ha ha ha. You have to lie on the ground and have one person standing above you wriggling the table leg back and forth, back and forth, until you can get that bolt to "slide on through" two layers of metal and a layer of plastic, all of which are completely invisible to you. Then you have to rummage around your toolbox for the first of many tools you will need (including two different sized wrenches). At this point. you're wondering about the people who designed this. Like, you'd really love to have a conversation with their relative therapists. You'll be back into your tool box, because having all the bolts be the same size and require the same tools would just be way too efficient and logical. By the time you're done, you will need at least four tools (including TWO 10mm wrenches, because you can't tighten a bolt to a nut without stabilizing the bolt, people). Once it's done and both of the elderly people who had to put it together are panting, exhausted (one of whom is about to go in for surgery, thus necessitating the table), you realize that although you very, very carefully followed the instruction as to which way the plastic release lever is supposed to be oriented (that's the one you had to lie on the floor to get the bolt to "slide through" in the beginning), the instructions were wrong. Plus "up" and "down" are relative when you are assembling the entire thing upside down. But I'll let that pass. The point is, the table will go up. In fact, it will go up even without the lever. But the only way to get it to go down is to get your husband to fling his entire body weight against the top of it. According to the answers provided here, I've installed that plastic lever upside down. Again, I'll argue that the instructions are wrong and are relying on that inverted reversed backhanded "up" and "down" concept. All I can tell you is to do the opposite of what the instructions tell you to do. So now I decide... do I flip this thing over and play "slide the bolt through the three layers of invisible holes" once again while lying on the ground (and trying to imagine how I'm going to get up again) or do I just flip the bird to these designers and live with it as is? I'll let you guess which one I chose. PS - as you look at the table, there are a dozen ways this could have been designed for more logical assembly. There are HUNDREDS of ways the various nuts, bolts, and washers could have been packaged for easy labeling and access. There is a reason they made the choices they made. This is why I would really, really like to talk to their therapists. Oh man, please let them have therapists.

Good product
Read lots of negtive reviews before placing the order. Still got attracted by the low price. Assembling only take me 15 mins following the instruction. The instruction manual is easy to understand to me and I dont get why there are so many complaint about it. You dont really need to read the instruction, the pictures itself can explain everything. Table is good so far. Very happy about the height of the table. The only annoying thing is it makes a little bit noise while moving as there is a moving stick inside the vertical supporting bar.

Exactly what I needed
Just started working from home for medical reasons and needed something that I would be able to use in various rooms and at various heights depending on how I feel at any given time. Getting the table took some doing. I ordered it twice from another seller who canceled my first order within a few hours of placing it without explanation, and showing 12 in stock. I ordered a second time from the same seller and it went through, but never arrived. When I left negative seller feedback after a few attempts at communication went unanswered, it was cancelled again. Thankfully another seller carried it and delivered it promptly. Assembly was simple and quick, and I was extra careful when removing that last screw after reading some reviews, but nothing happened when I did without having used the lever to raise the table, so I can't speak to that. As I had read in another review, my table top is not quite parallel to the floor. But it's not a terribly noticeable angle, and nothing falls off so I'm not fussed about that. Now past the pitfalls and complaints noted by other buyers, and having used it for a week, I can't say enough good things about this table. I have clamped on the hardware for dual monitors, and for a keyboard and mouse, as well as mounting a power bar to the underside of it and I have been able to use it while seated on my couch, as well as raised to fit my Stamina Wonder exercise bike under it (thank you to fellow Stamina owner Dee for the recommendation). And, on really bad days, this table will slide under my raised bed and allow me to work from there as well. As this is the only table that raises high enough to make that happen, it was critical to me that it work. It does. So happy.

It works, but assembly is not for the tool impaired.
BE CAREFUL when you remove the screw that says "remove after assembly" as it will extend the shaft UP with extreme force. I read some other reviews that said that so I was prepared for it. BLAM! Could launch something into orbit. I'm stuck between rating it 3 or 4 stars. There were no assembly instructions in the package. LUCKILY! I have a degree in astrophysics, rocket science, structural engineering, and psychology... so through logical reasoning and analysis of design parameters based on manufacturing standards and probability of how they most likely intended it to be assembled... I was able to make it work within 15 minutes. I only have 3 pieces left over that didn't get consumed by the assembly process, where they go? I have no idea. But it seems stable, works sorta decent-ish and rolls nicely. I think I'm happy with it. Maybe raise the price by 17 cents and include a napkin with scribbled assembly instructions.

the packaging was TERRIBLE!
I"m disabled and badly in need of this bedside tray/table...so when it arrived CHIPPED on the table top.. I felt disappointed. I hate it when good money goes out to supposed 'trustworthy' sellers only to discover you were taken advantage of.. horrible packaging and delivery people who throw things around...are NOT good quality venues to have working for a company who 'claim' to be reliable. I can't just package this table up now and haul it all the way to town and then wait and wait for another new one that's not banged up..../? Im in need now! So yes, I don't mean to be hard...and though it's 'only a table' to some...it's how I can sit up in my bed and enjoy my lap top or eat or rest my elbows to hold my book.. I can't easily get around as I should be able to do. I'm angry ... it's bad enough that I have to pay someone to put it together for me but to spend money on a chipped up item is not at all satisfying.

Best Ever!
This product is a gem. The price is amazing, the finish wears like iron. When I smoked, a dropped cigarette didn’t even leave a burn, that’s how tough this is. I can raise or lower it with one finger! A wipe with a wet cloth and it looks brand new. I am disabled and run my life from this table. It swings over easily to eat or watch tv. I can’t say enough good things about this product and believe it is the best on the market. I have gone through numerous other brands, none of which came close to this. I really don’t know how anyone manages without one of these. If you have any elderly people in your life, this would make them very happy. Many disabled or old people have trouble holding books and this solves that. My only complaint is that there should be an edge, at least on one side, so things don’t roll off. I’m constantly losing pens, or anything round. I believe there is a more expensive version with edges but the price was way more. Excellent product!
