works as planned

Works as planned, the size is what I needed but should have ordered one size larger. Think of the thickness of your material before you order - I put this on a swimsuit and it is hard slide the material onto the clasp.

Great clips

When the bra clip on my brand new and very expensive swimsuit snapped I was destroyed! I had been trying to figure a way to mend the clip, but when I realized that would never work I started looking for a new clip. Make sure you measure the width of your strap before buying! These were perfect for my needs and looked pretty similar to the original clips... but these are way stronger!!!

Sturdy clip but lacks gripping ability

The plastic hook on my twelve year old daughters swim top broke so I used this to replace it. I sewed it in and it serves its purpose. I do with that the clasp had notches or something that would grip the material rather than a smooth hook. Sometimes when my daughter is very active around the pool the clasp slides loose because it’s a smooth surface. Other than that it’s a thick plastic clip and it seems very sturdy.

strong but no grip

I needed these for a bathing suit repair and metal is much more sturdy than the plastic especially for those with larger chests and have more to hold. I probably should have gotten the 1" but these worked fine for my suit. the only negative I have is that they have absolutely no gripping ability so the fabric slides out of the hook very easily. There are some that have a grove in the middle designed to hold the fabric in place better they would probably be preferable but I found these on amazon and needed them quick.

the clip on the top of my daughters bathing suit broke rendering unusable. I found the replacement clips. it was easy to replace I hand sewed it together and it worked. The clips were solid plastic and held up well saving the bathing suit

perfect swimsuit hook replacements

I bought these hooks because my daughter had several swimsuits that needed repaired. The plastic hooks that come on her suits always end up breaking and of course it ends up being at the most inconvenient times. These metal ones are perfect to replace them with. You no longer have to worry about broken hooks. They are a little harder for her to hook and unhook them than the plastic ones that come on her suits but she would rather that then worry about them breaking again. I defiantly recommend buying these if you need to replace your swimsuit hooks.

It works!

I was looking for a replacement clasp for my bathing suit clasp that broke. These are great because they come in plastic or metal and in different colors. Just make sure to get the right size, because they come in 3/4 inch and 1 inch, depending on your bathing suit. Glad to have found this cheap replacement, I can keep my bathing suit and not throw it out!
