Not good for hard use

I'm a groomer and I tried this style first but the batteries stopped holding a charge and stopped charging after about a year. So I switched to the style with the recharging dock, it works so much better for regular repeated use.

For me any Dremel tool has given good service. Nickel-Cadmium batteries do have a life span ...

I use this charger to charge batteries of both the 4.8 volt Mini Dremel and the newer 7.2 volt version. I use both tools to trim the claws of my two Keeshond dogs. It is easier than using the claw clippers and also may be used for smaller sanding and engraving jobs. Being an Australian having these types of items on shipped to Australia has never presented a problem. For me any Dremel tool has given good service. Nickel-Cadmium batteries do have a life span and with the longevity of the tool will need to be replaced. Like the tool having it on shipped is to me an unnecessary step when both countries (USA and Australia) are so close as nations.

This was a great deal!

I lost the charger for my dremel, I was so upset but saw this and ordered it, it’s been charging just fine for my 4 year old dremel, a charge lasts me around. A month with just maintenance on my nails and dogs nails.

Same Serial Number As The Original And Cheaper Than Buying In The Stores

Works well with my Dremel batteries because it is a Dremel product. I purchased this as a leave at home spare charger just in case my other one gets lost at the dog shows. I have two extra batteries so this way I never run out of power when trimming my Collies nails between shows. The price can't be beat, and I would recommend that any Dremel owner purchase a spare charger just in case you break or lose the original.
