Bit Worked Great, Wish My Dremel Was More Powerful
This bit worked fantastic for what it was advertised to do. Clean cuts, easy to plunge, no complaints about the bit at all. I was careful not to apply too much force on the bit (and would recommend the same to you) and the bit performed exactly as expected. I wish my old Dremel was a bit more powerful to keep up with what this bit could do, but that’s nothing against this product.

Doesn't last long, really only for fine and finish use
I don't have a router, but I needed to route a few (6) hinge mortises for a door and I already had the Dremel. So I figured I'd buy a 1/4" router bit and use that instead of getting another tool. I know Dremel bits are really designed for fine and finish work, not things like mortising hinges. And I was also aware that using it on painted material would shorten its life. But I was very disappointed that by the 5th mortise the blade was already chipped and catching on the wood. I had hoped it would last for the entire project, but it couldn't even make it through one single door. Big disappointment.

Very impressed
Bought this rotary tool bit as a single use bit for a project to round off the edges on mdf boards. Figured for the price it would not last very long, but I didn't need it to last very long so price was the main driver in the purchase decision. It worked very well and held up much better then expected so I just keep using for various projects and it is still going strong. Very surprised at the nice cut, especially since it has a static end and no ball bearing. Have used it on mdf, epoxy, plywood, and hardwoods. Guess I will just have to keep on using it until it wears out.

It Takes a little time to get use to but it gets the job done.
Nothing I dislike about. I am making a Dallas Cowboy Table.

Great tool bit
Very well made tool bit. Accuracy spot on. I have bought the Dremel plunge router base and two of these bits for doing inlet art in the Greene and Greene style on my custom Bespoke furniture. Both are working better than I imagined.

Not great but it works enough...
Not sure if I got a dud but this did a very inconsistent job putting a slight curve on the edge of a guitar body. I used the cutting guide set to the dept I want and ran it at a moderate speed but even with the collet tightened as tight as I could get it this bit somehow snagged enough to jar itself loose causing skips and stutters which I had to clean up by hand afterwards. Not the end of the world but surprising given how little material I was removing and how the wood was absolutely not problem for any other Dremel bits I've used on it. In general, the less here for me is to just keep router stuff to routers instead of trying to save a tiny bit of time using a Dremel.

If you want to use your dremmel at a router this is the bit
If you want to use your dremmel at a router this is the bit. Definitely not a router or as clean as a hand router but it will get the job done in a pinch and this is the bit you want to use

Reasonably Good
They've got a bit rusty a bit quicker than the original one I had in the kit - but otherwise, work as expected. Reasonable quality for reasonable price.

BE the bit.
Dremel This review is not for the object, per se, more of what it represents in the manifestation of your actions and what dreams you have when you lie awake at night wondering what the future holds in these uncertain times. As a tool, it deftly rounds over the hard, sharp edges of a workpiece. Something you’ve spent hours on and this is the last dressing it needs. Imagine if you will, all those hours you’ve spent creating a custom cutting board, or a clock, or a heirloom piece that will be handed down for generations. As you sand and prep the wood, all your hard work will be exquisite once this tool rounds off the hard edges. As with life, we can carry hard edges with us, an unintentional cross word or unflattering comment to another which doesn’t serve the greater part of humanity. Instead, BE like this tool: round those hard edges of your personality. The ones that create friction, a cut, a coarse hard edge in this cruel world, it brings a bit of softness. Be like this dremel bit: the right size, the right shape to smooth out the hard edges of your life.
