It works, I comleted my first project.

Really didnt think it would work. Job 1 was to cut a bicycle break cable since my wire cutters couldnt do it. it was successful. 2nd job wasnt planned for but the toilet paper holder set screw was jammed so used this cutter to cut into the holder releasing the set screw. Pretty cool, good to keep around for the unexpected job.

Great durability!

OK, these cutting wheels are a vast improvement over the standard cutting wheels that are brittle and wear down quickly. I have lost track of how many of those standard wheels have broken on me - very frustrating. And even when you are very careful so that they don't break, the standard wheels wear down quickly. These reinforced cutting wheels have greatly improved durability and resistance to wear; I was able to use one to cut through two auto exhaust system bolts, one 9/16" and one 11/16", without breakage and with only some wear on the wheel. Very happy with this purchase!

Saved the day!

My husband was fixing a leaky shower and needed to get the middle part of the handle out of the knob to change a washer but it was stripped and frozen in place. I have a dremel i use for the dogs nails (the sander part) which also had one of these cutting wheels in the kit. Figured if it didn't work the worst that would happen was having to replace the entire shower with new knobs. In under a minute he was able to cut into the screw just enough that the screwdriver was able to grab hold and back it out. New washer, new screw, and another new use for our dremel. I bought a pack of these and two other styles to have on hand.

Just what I wanted.

I recently went to a home store to restock my cutting wheels and was met once again with "new and improved". Seeing as how I find nothing wrong with the current design, I came back home and ordered three packs of these. Should last me a while.

❤️ Dremel

These discs work great. Only dropped a star because of how quickly they burn up. I’ve since purchased: “EZ506CU” Premium Metal Cutting Wheel which is designed to cut without using up material If you do not have to cut into metal very often, these will do just fine. Otherwise, look into that one. Like anything else, these are cheaper in the front end but likely more expensive over time. One thing is true: either way, you will not be disappointed. Dremel is Dremel. As long as it isn’t a knockoff version, and it says “Dremel” on it, it’ll consistently meet expectations and leave you with the result you were hoping for.

These last longer than the EZ lock disks.

The EZ lock feature is cool but they get hot and separate from the central hub before the disk is worn down and they cost more. These ones just have the tiny screw into the arbor. Takes longer to mount of course but I can dremel down to the nub with these. Highly recommended.

Stick with the Dremel branded discs

Unfortunately, anything that says Dremel is expensive. The Amazon price is lower than the local Big Box store so that is why to buy here. These will cut stainless steel, but you will use up the pack of 5 rather quickly. Try doubling them up to get longer lasting.
