Meh

One of the shades came twisted which made it difficult to attach to the window. The suction things don’t stick. The adhesive strips for the Velcro bottom don’t stick so the window cover just dangles.

Update: 04/15/16 These are the only shades that fit 90% of the width of my truck window. However, the clips break easly and the roller part breaks easliy and does not want to roll up/down. The suction does not stay amd the sticky part does not last long. I have to keep adding double sided tape to make it stick otherwise it flops all over and the kids play with it. Very annoying. The clips snapped on the first pair and since the suction cups don't hold I had to order a second pair. I have a Yukon XL and these window shades fit perfectly for the rear windows. They are the widest shades I could find to provide the maximum coverage. They cover about 90% of the window and are easy to see through. There are is about 1.5" of gap on each side that does not cover the window and I'm sure some sun will shine through that however, it is soooo much better then what it is without them. I have one forward facing child and one rear facing child. Even though my windows are tinted the darkest shade allowed by law, the Nevada hot sun shines through brightly. With the added protection of these shades it keeps them comfy!!! They are so easy to install and hold tightly with the suction cups and clips at the top. The white part faces out and with the tinted windows you can hardly see the logo. (Even if they were not tinted, the logo is not tacky or bad at all if showing.) I have tried several brands and sizes of shades. So far these are the best fit for a SUV. Only one con, which is nothing at all to gripe about, but it is a bit of a struggle to attach at the top. I kept the suction cups on with the clips. It took a few tries to get both sides down because the suction cups were very strong and kept popping the shade up and the clips back off. I just put some muscle into it and showed these shades who was boss and it worked!

It works great with either the suction cups or mounting bracket!

I live in Texas were the last month has been 90+. So I did the test for both options. One window with all 3 suction cups for placement. Then the mounts attached onto the window once it’s closed with the both suction cup to hold it down. Not once did the suction cups give out. I’m very impressed! I was worried the suction cups would give out being so hot and none have fallen. I also was concerned about the window leaking since one side has the mounting bracket on. No water came through. I would buy this product again. Especially for any mom with a child in the backseat. I have a 2016 F150 and it covers the back windows better than the other brands. It’s about an inch n a half still exposed but it shades the sun very well. It’s not a black out, but it does it’s job for what I need. I’ve even had the windows down and neither one fell down. I would definitely buy again!

Better than others!

I have a midsize SUV so was looking for something wide enough to cover the window for my toddler. Everything else I tried was either too small to provide enough shade or I didn't like (like the sticky film-type shade). This one is wide enough to cover most of the window. Another 2 inches or so wouldn't hurt. But I like how you can just roll it up or down when you need to. I only use the shade when baby's sleeping. So basically this shade does what it's supposed to do. Just make sure the suction cup and window is CLEAN before sticking it on because it'll just fall off otherwise. Learned for myself. Very happy I found this. Thanks Amazon!!

Nice and big

Second time purchasing only because my son broke one. I've purchased many only to be disappointed in their small size. These are the biggest ones I've found and fit my Nissan Rogue perfectly. I recommend using the window clips and not the suctions alone.

Love them!!

I just love my window shades. The only thing that bothers me is that the suction cups at the bottom of the shade that holds it tight to the glass doesn't hold for very long and I have to keep resuctioning them to the glass. that's why I gave it 4 stars, otherwise if the suction cups held for a longtime I would have given 5 stars.

buyer beware

buyer beware, this product does not work well with newer vehicles. We have a 2014 Prius and the sensor will not let the window close all the way up. It does work in our older car, but it pushes up the seal between window and door. Our solution, we leave the window down by about 1/2cm. Otherwise, it works well. I prefer to tint the windows of the car, but since I'm borrowing the car, I use this shade and it does the job.

Terrible don't waste money

Good at first but not for long

These blinds are a good size for 4x4 back windows but after only a few hours the suction cups started playing up, so we used the sticky Velcro instead but that has now lost its stick and we arent able to use them at all. Also very hard to see when reversing and because they clip on to the top of the windows you have to have them ever so slightly open so our windscreen is now very wet on the inside in the colder mornings. I will be buying a hood canopy for our baby's car seat instead as no window screens seem to fit well enough to shield the sun out of her eyes.

wider than it states

Went to install these blinds on our Saab 1.9 estate car only to find that they did not fit - being too wide. I had measured the window before ordering to check it was the correct width. However, the stated 50cm width refers to the blind, not the overall width of of the product. The top bit, which houses the roller is much wider than 50cm and therefore did not fit on the window. Apart from this, the product appears to be quite well built, although am unable to state if it is fit for purpose as am having to send it back for the above reasons.

Doesn't stay down

Nice and wide but it doesn't stay stuck down very well. The top part does but the bit you pull down is forever popping up.
