I’m Torn on this product
I use watercolor, and love to mix in ink - India inks are awesome if you are doing a mixed media piece and want some permanent lines - I would have given this a 5 star rating but a couple of my colors are thick…so thick I can’t even use my glass ink pen, which was disappointing. Some colors work GREAT, but it would have been nice to use the colors that are even too thick for my glass pen - yellow Ochre was terrible, it was one color I use a lot in my art. I think the colors that are just a bit more opaque just might be too thick. To be fair, I haven’t been through all the colors yet, but when you get 10 colors, especially if you use them all for different artwork, it can be a little disappointing.

Company is top notch with product and service.
These inks are great. Smooth and easy to use. Pigments and spread are beautiful. My product was delivered with a cracked bottle and company replaced immediately. The company reps couldn't have been nicer. I already ordered ew different products. Love giving them my business.

Amazing product and superior customer service
My original set unfortunately came with a broken bottle of one color. I reached out to ask just to get a replacement for that one and they immediately offered to give me an entire new set for free. Super sweet, and the product is simply fantastic.

Swatch before you use.
I admit that I am new to India inks, but Inktober is coming and I wanted to add them to my options. As a newcomer, I was surprised by how fluid they were. I swatched them at full strength, then a watered down gradient. I also dotted the swatches with the white ink to test its ability to cover, and it's good! Black and violet are very strong, and they can easily overwhelm colors they are paired with. Some colors blended easily, while a couple felt more resistant. The blue-yellow mixture produced a lovely green, but that blue MOVES. You can see that in the red-blue mix, the red stayed put, and the combination isn't the loveliest. Long story short, as with any art supply, swatch and experiment first to get a sense of each individual ink's properties. Looking forward to using these!

Very nice colors and works well when mixed together!
I mix these and dilute them. They work well with small-large (water color) paper. Purchased them to spit shade my flash tattoo art, and it works very well! My first ever set and I’m very proud of the work it’s helped me accomplish.

Leak in packaging but overall, I recommend this product. I found them a lot of fun to work with and really beautiful in color.
. As an artist I have my usual, favorite mediums to work in but am I'm a complete novice in the world of ink and calligraphy, I thought I'd like to branch out, try these inks and see what they have to offer. Initially, I actually really wanted to order the Dr. Ph. Martin Hydrus Watercolor set, but for about $20 extra, I was a little hesitant. Instead, I went for the India Ink set from the same, popular brand with a plan to dilute down the colors as needed when in need of a more subtle wash of color. Here are a few of my findings in buying and using these inks... * The circular packaging is nice and displays each of the bottles clearly with a little dip in the plastic next to it for you to decant/mix the ink if you so wish. I chose against this because I can see the whole thing ending in a big mess as these inks are permanent. Instead I use a ceramic or plastic pallet when blending colors. When using the colors alone, I just dip directly into the bottle. * Still on the same subject of packaging... and the reason why I had to deduct a star, is because the blue ink had spilled inside! However, when I opened the box, it had since dried completely. The lid on the bottle however, was on pretty well, I can't find a crack in the bottle so can only think that the lid had lifted off and spilled only for someone to put it back on, ship it out and hope for the best. The ink lost is minimal so it's no big deal just a little annoying. * As an experimental purchase, I debated whether to buy the same India Ink in smaller sized bottles but in the end decided against saving a few dollars. My reasons for this were 1) for a fraction more in cost, you recieve double the quantity and 2) this particular set came with durable glass bottles and pipettes. I have no idea how you'd go about decanting ink from the same plastic bottles so I'm glad I didn't have to face that dilemma and subsequent mess. * The colors are really rich and vibrant (I believe the other assortment of colors are more subdued). The pigments are intense and apparently meet good lightfastness requirements. If you want to tone down the colors, a little mixing could render some beautiful subdued shades without you having to buy even more colors. In the same vein and a to a little of my disappointment, diluting the ink with water reduced the color intensity vastly. It was to be expected somewhat anyway, but it made me change about applying subtle washes of barely there color. * They dry really quickly. This is great, I'd imagine for calligraphy or line work but there isn't much of a window for blending on paper unless again, you incorporate the use of water. When dry and in full strength, the finish is semi glossy. They are also waterproof. I hope that helped you in your decision making. Overall, I recommend this product. I found them a lot of fun to work with.

AMAZING
When I first got the product, 2 of my inks spilled inside during the process of delivery. I was upset about it so I informed the seller. They replied immediately and sent a replacement ASAP. Their custom support was amazing! The product is also great! I would recommend purchasing from them!

Very rich pigment I was on the fence with these because For such a small bottle To the price But I decided to purchase them They mix very well together to make new colours they last a long time because you only need a few drops and you can Mix with water to get different tinting strengths excellent will buy again

Good quality and value
So far seems like a great range of colours of ink of a quality that for me works really well for drawing with a very fine-nibbed pen. A little goes a long way. Good value. I recommend.

Intense Colour!
These inks really are a pleasure to work with, intensely colourful and smooth to work with they really do inject a massive dose of colour into my work and take it to the “next Level” -if you have the money available I would definitely advise that you get both sets .

Lovely inks
I love these inks, they're lovely to work with. The white one does get a bit glopy so you have to shake it before use. The brown ink had leaked a bit when I got it, but that's not a fuss. The pigment is strong too.
