I got one of these harnesses for my dog a few years back at a local pet store that is now out of business. I think they are adorable, and I get so many compliments on how cute they are at least a few times a week (I live in the city). They fit the girls well (they do run large), both my dogs are 5 lb chihuahuas with different bodies, and wear an XS. I have two spare smalls because I always forget what size to get.... ugh Anyways, I love these little harnesses. They're cute, they add to their outfits, my dogs look like girls without having to wear pink, but my one complaint is the velcro wears out fast, and also starts to come off. I dont like to leave it on my dogs 24/7, so I continually have to replace them. 1-2x per year. Which sucks. I dont want to go through the hassle of sewing and repairing them. So if they would use a better velcro that is more sturdy and would last longer I would give 5 stars. Just remember to measure your dog, they do run large.

Color is light gray, not blue.

I bought this same harness 2 years ago and the color was a really pretty true blue, with dark blue fringe - like the picture on Amazon shows. The one I just bought is a very light almost gray color and the fringe is the same gray color. Very disappointed. See my 2 photos showing the difference in color. To be fair, the harness is well made and is very cute. I always got compliments from people with the older blue one. I haven't decided if I will send it back.

I love it and my dog too, I bought a few in different sizes as my dog grew... :)

But size SMALL is not that small... Way too big for my 12 pounds Maltipoo. My baby went from size Teacup as a baby (1 pound to 3 or so), then XXS (from 4 to 6 pounds or so) and then XS... that is a bit small for her now, it was perfect until she passed 11 pounds. She's now around 12 at her adult size, and would love a tiny bigger size so I bought the size up... but SMALL is not small... more for medium dogs 15 to 18 pounds, I would guess. I hope that helps. GREAT QUALITY and the cutest -still very practical and comfy- harness I've found. We are trying to fit in the XS :). If the company can read my review, we would love a size between XS and S ;) For 12 pounds canine babies :).

Cute dog harness!

I purchased this for my 6 pound Chihuahua. Purchased the size as per her measurements. Wish it was slightly bigger around the neck. It fits nicely around her chest/belly area. Sewn very well. The denim is lined with cotton type material making it sturdier and not rough on her fur/skin. Has a sequin for the center of the flower that sparkles in the sun!

Chiquita's Harness Dress

Just got this denim harness dress and it adorable!! It's well made and fits perfectly(got XS size) for our 7.2 lb chihuahua. I got it because Chiquita has a fat lump on her underbelly just where her step in harness falls. This soft lump has gotten a little larger recently and I thought possibly the was bothering her. Hopefully this harness won't irritate the lump as much. I was worried about getting the right size since I hate to return on-line purchases but previous reviews gave me a hint to get the XS. Chiquita looks so cute in it. So that people don't have to read all the reviews to determine size, here is what the size chart on the tag said. This product is very well made, great fitting and all at a reasonable price. Don't hesitate to get one, you'll love it. TEACUP < less than 2 lbs. XXS 2 - 5 lbs. XS 5 - 15 lbs. Small 12 - 20 lbs.

Cute and sturdy.

My only disappointment, and it is a bit significant, is that the color is really bad. The photo showed a light blue denim. We actually bought this harness dress for another pet eight years ago, and it was a lovely blue. This harness is so washed out that it appears to be a bland gray...genuinely not what I expected.

Cute and fast shipping

It does run very big, Ordered XS , thinking it would be too small.. I really wanted to order a small.... but actually I could have ordered a XXS, and still have plenty of room.... my Daisy is 5Lbs and I have the Velcro all the way to the end, and she is done growing... she is 4 years old.. 5 Lb Yorkie, it’s cute, but really wished I would have ordered a smaller size for the money I paid, but did not want to hassle with the return....

Super cute for smaller toy dogs! Shipped super fast!

I didn’t think there was much to it at first but it is functional and looks super cute on my 5lb toy poodle puppy. I slip it on over her sweater and it looks adorable. Easy to slip on with Velcro under body and at the neck. I would recommend for a toy dog. It’s not really made for a stronger dog that pulls. I’m super happy with it though. make sure to measure. The XS fits my puppy well. She has a longish body.
