It doesn’t quite do the trick

We use it to prevent someone from stealing our golf cart. It doesn’t prevent the gas peddle from being pressed all the way down. My husband had to drill additional holes in the back to prevent the peddle from going down any further.

Does not work with 2019 and above Club Car Precedent

The product itself was fine; good construction. The metal block fits over the accelerator pedal perfectly. However, the locking pin hole is too high and hits the back of the pedal. No matter how much you fiddle with it, the pin does not clear the pedal. The MFG (DMZ) knows this and recommends sending the Lock A Cart back to them (at your expense), and they'll drill new holes based on where YOU tell them the proper alignment is. I could do that as well...if I chose to. But I did not buy this product to retro-fit it. I want a plug-and-play solution. So be forewarned. Good product, just does not align with the 2019 and above Club Car.

Fits 2003 EZGO TXT, with small modification

Wonderful anti-theft device to “DETER” thieves, but if they really want your cart, they will get it! That said, it does fit my 2003 EZGO TXT just fine. I added a weather proof Abus pad lock to it, to make it even harder for thieves to take! I did do one modification (in the last picture), I added two small pieces of car door bumper trim to the bottom edges of the “Lock-A-Cart”, to protect the rubber floor mat from getting damaged, and two, it makes the “Lock-A-Cart a little more snug after it’s all installed. I do recommend this anti-theft device!

Deters theft

I had to modify by drilling new key pin holes for the latest model EZ go-cart. Now works very well, and protects from theft.

Great gadget to keep your golf cart safe, only thing, it comes with a small lock, you can do what I did, and that is to make the hole where the lock goes into, bigger, so you can put a larger stronger lock on it, it's easily done.
