4 stars instead of 5 because the company didn't include the right number of screws to attach the handles. I managed to attached the handle with the longer screw that was provided, but sits a little funny, and I'm not sure how long it'll hold properly. It shipped fast, but the box was torn which I suppose is a post office problem. My son is 4.5 yrs old and has autism, he seeks pressure/input to his arms a lot so I figured this would be a good purchase. I like the size, it doesn't take up much room, it takes some muscle to pull for a little kid, but that's what my son needs. It's nice & sturdy feeling too which is nice, the price was definitely reasonable for the product. My son has used some of the other fitness equipment this company makes (bike, treadmill, elliptical) and is a little more excited about those than this. Wish the feet pedals were a little higher up or adjustable since my son has a hard time using properly, but he'll grow into it soon enough.

Sent used and with flaws

The item came clearly used, though deceptively as it was obviously sent to Amazon as "new", which I know because the original packing slip was still on the box. But the hardware was opened and there were chunks out of the padding that you grab. The arms offer resistance but do not pull back into place on their own. All in all, it's a fine toy, but certainly not worth the pricetag on it.

Had to use some strategy and elbow grease during assembly.

All of the parts came and worked one of the weldings that held the Piston and the rowing arm was off I had to use a clamp to bend it as I tightened the bolt during assembly. If this wasn't an issue or gets resolved in manufacturing I think this product is easily 5 stars. Without the issue I had this would have been a 10-15 minute assembly. My 4yr old loves the finished product though, I would recommend with the warning that it may have an issue.

Easy to install

It's light enough to move around. Easy to install. Weighted enough not to move when in use. Lots of fun. Two issues- paint seems to come off with several use, like dust / powder; the other is that one of the foot strap broke easily. Still usable and still fun.

Wish there was consistency in the build.

Definitely love the concept but one of the tabs the screw goes through is bent a bit. This does not allow the screw to go all of the way in.
