Works great!

I ordered it and then read the reviews... when it arrived I checked it out based on problems that others reported. The lid was torqued way too tight during assembly. When I looked at the seal it was seriously deformed (pic). I flipped it and it sealed perfectly (pic). I'm thinking that others were getting air leaking at the areas where it was deformed. I also cut off the end of the tip after I realized it was sealed. That was after struggling to get the glue to fill smaller chamber. Works great... I can now glue up honey bee frames much quicker.

It’s a big surprise what a difference this makes…

I am stunned at how this product immediately elevated my glue up’s to another level. It may seem like something you don’t need, but for the price, the control, the precision, the neatness of application make the Gluebot an excellent purchase! Highly recommend for woodworking.

Good value

Works great but I could use a old condiment bottle to accomplish the same results for free. But the bottle does work.

Works very well

I didn't expect this to work when I saw it. It appeared cheep so my expectations were low. I put some Mac glue in it and squeezed the large portion of the dispenser and the glue rose up in the spout and went into the area I wanted it to go. I like how the whole sides of the container did not get glue on it so little glue is exposed to air and drying out. The plastic the container is made with allowed the glue to quickly slide back down into the tank. So far the silicone lid keeps where I placed it,so even that works the way it should. I have not used it very much yet, so this review doesn't have a long history to report on. So far I find this worth the miminal cost especially if it keeps the glue from drying out. I am very glad I took the chance on buying it.

Perfect glue bottle

Very easy to fill and use. Love how you don't have to tip it in all different angles to get glue out. I gave it a 5 for being easy to clean, but I have yet to clean it. I really haven't had to. I just keep topping it off if it gets low. Comes with very losable tips. I only have the one that comes installed on it, no idea where the other 2 went.

Seen these on woodworking channels

Seen these on woodworking channels and they seemed to be what I was looking for. I'd bought a 5 litre of wood glue and decanted into washing up bottles. I thought I go for the upgrade and get a 'glubot'. Well, decanted into glubot and sorted to use, I say started, it would squeeze out through the tip. Had to take tip off to gloop the glue out. Not what I was looking to do. The glue was too thick. I suspect the only glue that would work wood be 'titebond.? If you buy that stuff, its overpriced for just normal wood glueing, the cheap 5litre bottle is good enough, not good enough for the glubot. So, back to the washing up bottles for me, and they cost nothing.

Rubbish seals

Bought this having seen similar used by Youtubers and the glowing reviews on Amazon. Pay attention to the negative reviews about the seals. They are rubbish. Filled the bottle, ensured the caps were screwed on as well as they could be and the first time I used it glue was flowing out of all of the caps. The seals are made of an extremely hard rubber and don't fit the caps very well as all. With the bottle being made of a soft plastic, there is no way it can properly seal. Waste of money (and glue)!

Poor quality casting leaks air from the filler neck.

I'd love to share all the high praise for these as they're very popular but I've never been that happy with it. The casting is not very well finished with lots of plastic tags, the result being that when you squeeze the bottle, it often lets air out the filler cap meaning you have to spend forever tinkering with it to get glue to come out the nozzle. I've tried all sorts of things to fix this but it's a constant problem with it. Like I say I really wanted to like this as it's a good idea but I need it to work consistently and instead it's a frustratingly temperamental thing.

Disappointed

All was well for a couple of weeks glueing lots of wood, then it seemed to work for about 300mm then only come out sporadically, I checked everything and it seemed like the lid had come loose somehow, to cut a long story short in the end I noticed that even though the lid was screwed on correctly when you applied a little pressure the lid lifted up, it didn't matter if you screwed the lid on tight or just enough to get a seal the lid always popped up, totally frustrated after hours trying to fix it I flung it and used a washing up bottle.

Money well spent!

This thing is super handy, despite being very expensive for a plastic bottle!. Firstly it is better than any bottle supplied with glue in it already - if you have tried the Evostik bottles, which is the most commonly sold wood glue in the UK, you will know that the twist caps on them frequently clog and if you leave them open even once it's game over. With this bottle the drip tip is detachable so if you leave it open by mistake you can just remove it and clear the blockage with a tooth pick or similar. Secondly if you get through a lot of wood glue it allows you to buy glue in larger bottles (which do not come with a drip tip) and save money. The only shame of it is that the accessories for this bottle (they sell various different tips for it, as well as replacement rubber seals as these will not last for ever) are not easily available in the UK.
