A great item ...BUT
Great item...BUT needle broke same day I received it and within 20 mins of felting. Highly suggest not buying single need. Buy multiple spare needles just in case!! Still good item.

Para usar en reborn: Si la sabes usar logras meter de uno en uno, pero sirve también para meter mechoncitos de pelo. Queda muy fino el hoyo. Me gustaría que trajera aguja de repuesto.

Excellent Tool for Small Projects
I love Needle Felting, and its been part of my life for several years. I have been looking for a comfortable, safe needle-holding tool because my hands become sore and stiff sometimes just working the needle alone. I found this product on Amazon, and I must say it is an impressive item for the price. It comes with a needle included and a sturdy cap, which is excellent protection for me and for the housed needle. (You can replace the needle, and the product comes with complete instructions on how to do this. Save the card for future reference!) This device has a purple, ridged grip zone, making for safer and secure holding while you work on your project. I like this, and I am able to comfortably navigate my project without the strain / discomfort of pinching a single needle. Helpful hints: Be aware that the safety cap fits snugly on the device, and I believe that is intentional for protection. If you turn the cap in one direction, you will unscrew the needle housing. (This is the first step if you need to replace the needle.) To remove the cap, you can pull it straight off, but be mindful where your hand is because if you do it too sharply you can poke yourself. For me, I have found that a soft, slow twist in the opposite direction as the "remove needle" direction helps to slid the cap away carefully. With any needle felting tool, make sure you are focused and attentive to what you are doing or trying to accomplish. Also, remember felting needles can snap if they are angled or bent while working. Be sure to follow the advice on the card for using this tool. I recommend this device if you like to do faces, heads, hands, and other fine detail work. This device can be used with a needle felting mat or a foam block. / If you allow your children to do needle felting, you should supervise them as this, "a functioning sharp point," could be a dangerous tool if mishandled or misused.

Be careful when rooting hair for vinyl reborn dolls
This tool can be used also for rooting hair on vinyl reborn dolls..But be careful. With too much pressure the needle will break. It broke on me during rooting the hair. This is a good tool with a very comfy ergonomic grip which feels great in your hands. I started to love it until the needle broke. So my advice to all the potential customers that are thinking about using this needle for rooting hair on vinyl reborn dolls..I recommend this tool only if you buy lots of backup replacement needles. Great for Reborn Rooting
When I first started reborning, I tried several types of holders and was really frustrated because I kept breaking needles, and with some, I had to cut the shafts for them to fit. This Dimensions Needlecrafts Feltworks tool was recommended by Kim from Custom Doll Baby. I am so glad I purchased it! It is absolutely the best! It is easy to insert the needles, and it is ergonomic - no hands or finger strain. I am now rarely breaking needles. Thanks Dimensions!

felting needles and styrofoam cushioning
I had purchased this small kit as I had been warned that felting needles break quickly, and was just beginning the felting craft. I have to say these needles are not nearly as fragile as others I have used since. I enjoy working with them and have returned to them as the other needles I've purchased since have been breaking quickly. The styrofoam pads are small and adequate for short-term use but I have noted that the flaking of the "foam" pad has worked its way into my wool sculptures. It is a great kit for the short haul, the needles are lasting forever, the felting cushion not so much, and be warned - felting appears to be very addicting due to its creative nature. If you plan to do some "heavy duty" felting buy an additional sponge or brush to felt on. This small kit is great for a quick weekend craft, and is priced accordingly. The seller was great as the kit shipped very quickly and arrived in great shape when received.

Favorite Needles for Felting.
I was so glad when I found these on here since getting needle felting supplies at the local craft stores are very hit and miss. I was SHOCKED at the bad reviews. These are my favorite needles to work with by far. The pad that it comes with is complete rubbish so don't buy this for that (it will flake into your object and it is very small). The needles however are very sharp and they felt great. I keep coming back to these even though I have a variety of needles. I will say that the wool roving by this same brand is terrible. If you are trying to use these needles with that roving then there is no surprise that you can't get it to felt. If you get good quality roving (clover brand at the minimum but aim for some good quality merino wool) then these will do what you want. If you are new to felting then realize that it is a tedious process and takes ALOT of time and some know how so watch some videos for tips.
