Great socks

Run small

These socks are pretty comfortable, but don't have any stretch. I have narrow feet and skinny legs, and they feel snug, especially around the tops. I have to actually turn them down or I have marks on my legs from the elastic. They don't keep MY feet warm, but I gave them 4 stars anyways, b/c I live in a cold climate, and I have Raynaud's Syndrome. I rate these socks as just okay.

Cozy, warm, practical ????

I love these socks. I ordered them in the spring so that I would have them for the fall and winter and now I am glad I did. I can wear them with hiking boots, winter boots or even around the house if I'm chilly. They're not the warmest socks in the world and they're not meant to be but they are practical for what they are. They have good support in the arches and great thickness around the toe and heel. I happen to have medium to narrow feet and small ankles and thin legs so these are not tight on me. I do understand why some people say they're tight. If you have thick ankles or thick calves these are not the socks for you. I'm being sincere when I say this. I'm somebody who has chronic heart failure and even the slightest bit of swelling in the legs could make these uncomfortable. All in all, I wear these socks at least a couple times a week depending on the weather and what shoes I'm wearing. They wash up very nicely and I've had no issues with them coming apart. I hope this helps in some way.

Tight on leg

I should have paid more attention to the specs before I purchased these socks. They are good quality & fit well in the foot but are higher than I like (mid calf) & a bit tight on the leg. I am 5'3" & 135 lbs.

I love this brand of socks sooo much, they're perfect. I will never buy another brand ever. They are a bit thick, but not too thick, they fit my tiny (size 6) feet perfectly and comfortably, they are a bit pricey but it's totally worth it, I bought the same pair two years ago, and they're still in great shape and everything I just lost a lot of them in the dryer and needed new socks, you know how it goes. But these socks are a great investment of great quality comfy socks that also look fabulous. ????

Great socks! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I bought these socks to wear with my work boots as well as my hiking boots. They're just thick enough without making my feet hot or making my boots feel tight. The elastic is sturdy & the cushioning on the sole is perfect. After buying a 6-pack of these I immediately ordered another 6-pack in other colors. I highly recommend these socks!

Wear's well

I purchased these to wear with my steel toe boots as my other socks were too low cut. These work well, they are taller than I expected.

Not for "fat" legs

Our daughter got these and loves them. So I decided to try them. The foot part feels great, but the leg is way too tight and binds my chunky legs. Wearing the "trial" pair, I kept pushing the leg part down until it ended up around my ankle. I won't keep these, my daughter gains another 6.

Comfortable socks

My mom is a mail carrier and as such walks about 16km a day. She is very picky about her shoes and socks (rightfully so with all that walking!). I ordered these for her to try and she loves them. She had me order more so she could get rid of all her other socks and exclusively have only this kind!

Too tight in the leg

I have size 6 shoes and the 6-9 fits my foot perfectly and snug so it doesn't move in my shoe so if your feet are bigger I don't recommend them. Like others have mentioned they are tight, it is bothersome in the leg and leaves an imprint even when I push the sock down lower. Great for a size 6 foot with a very skinny leg.

I love them! Good quality, warm especially because my feet and hands are always colder than most people. Love the fit, perfect! And the colours are beautiful. I'll probably be buying these Dickie socks as my regular socks for now on. Next ones will be a short cut for summer. Highly recommend!! :))

Snug fitting socks, won't ride down in your shoe.

I wanted a pair of socks that fit snug and weren't baggy. This pair is exactly what I wanted, they keep their shape and fit your foot comfortably. They don't move around on your foot when you are walking. They do fit snuggly, I have a slender foot so, someone with a wider foot may want to order a bigger size than women shoe size 6-9
