Just what I was looking for!

These Bobby Pins are so well made-sturdy metal & perfectly large! Nice grungy shades, but note that the colors are less saturated than what’s shown in the pictures. The green is way duller & the purple & blue are nearly the same in anything but direct light. I personally don’t mind, but it’s something to know if you’re looking for a specific color. I really enjoy them!!

Tips are scratchy

I have some 30 year old colored Bobby pins that even now the tips are smooth and don’t catch and break my hair. These that I just ordered are much more lightweight and the tips have caught my hair and aren’t of a high quality like my old pins that are such high quality.

Lots of 'Em

There are a lot of these pins that come in the pack, which is a good thing becasue... 1) They don't have the wiggly backs, just straight on straight like =. Which means they can't hold as much hair in the same secure fashion as the wiggly ones. 2) The paint can be picked off if they are handled roughly. And if the paint comes off and they are left in your pocket in the wash or they are in a steamy bathroom, they will rust. And get rusty water on your counter. Which can be removed with a pretty not-hard-to-find cleaner, but still. I do really like all the colors they come in, though the light blue and the light green are a lot paler and closer to each other in color than the picture shows. It's not like they're expensive either.

Pretty and unique accessory

You will never find anything like this in a store. I wear my hair in a retro style curly bob and these cute hairpins add a pretty touch that i can coordinate with my outfits. Plus they are nice and big for my thick hair and stay put very well.

The size is larger

Great value, great colors and hold bunch of hair. However, they are still vibrant and larger than a regular Bobby pin.

Nice, some paint coming off though.

I got this quick through Amazon prime. They are great for what I need but I am a little upset that the pins have chips of color coming off in the round part of the pin. They're still colorful though and they are larger than a standard Bobby pin.

Big and strong

I have super long, slick hair, and it slips out of bobby pins easily. These have a good grip, and are big enough to hold up my hair. I wish they came in pink, white, purple as well as natural hair colors as well. A major plus is that they are MADE IN THE USA, which is rare these days.

Nice but very large, good for medium to thick hair

These are a good set of hair pins and they work well for doing retro hairstyles (glory rolls, French rolls, even just buns or fancy braids or pony tails). The only real problem with them is that they’re pretty massive and they are very straight, they don’t have any flexibility to them. I use them for the underlying structure of a hairstyle and they work great ???????? but if you have very fine hair- don’t bother with these. Also, if you’re looking for something that is invisible or discreet, really don’t buy these. Having said that, when I bought them they were under $1 each and that was a good price. I bought a couple of sets because I’m always losing them and I was in some 1950’s musicals. These were very handy to have around. For ladies with very, very thick dark hair, you could probably use these for a lot more. I have fair hair and they look brightly coloured in my hair so if you have fair hair, you either have to hide them or use the colour as part of your outfit and expect them to be highly visible (like if you cross them on the side of your head, they look quite pretty or a single one to pull hair out of your face). Generally, I like to wear pins and clips with something on them so wearing just the colour isn’t my style but a lot of people do it and these work for that really well. The colours however are a bit peculiar so again, I’ve only given them 4 stars because of that and how stiff they are. For some people those traits might be helpful and I did find them incredibly awesome for doing the architecture of complex hairstyles… I had to find tiny ones for the rest of my hair because these ones are almost 3 inches long. They are almost ‘statement’ bobby pins with their size and colour for someone with fair hair. If I was someone with fine hair I would not have been able to use them at all.

Plastic nubs on the end are useless

Out of the 4 colours, the purple and red bobby pins had NO plastic nubs at the end which made the ends very sharp. This sharpness makes it uncomfortable for the scalp. The other 2 colours, the blue and bronze bobby pins, had plastic nubs that were so small and cheaply applied, that they will not last. I had ordered 2 sets and both were the same. In short, this product is NOT recommended.

Esses sim eram os que eu queria , iguais aos importados que comprava em Nova York , sendo pretos os de lá . Esses são lindos coloridos , e não marcam o cabelo . Já pedi outro e chega rápido .

Excellent large size for longer hair

These are great for making pincurls in longer hair or just getting it out of the way for washing your face or working out! The package holds a ton of them. I got two sets and gave one to my sister, who also has long thick hair with a mind of its own sometimes. Excellent product.

Not great

These arrived all scratched up and very cheap looking. They are completely straight, so they just slide out of my hair. Not worth the cost of returning. They were cheap to buy, and the quality reflects that.
