Exactly what I expected except the finish
I had a couple of tools that had no clips. I think probably a few of them are out in the pasture somewhere and maybe some didn't come with them. I don't use the clips much but when you need a clip while on a ladder or whatever, you need a clip. In every functional aspect this is exactly what I wanted and needed. One thing that I noticed that I thought was interesting is that even with the compact batteries that are wider than the normal batteries, the battery clears the clip. That is a nice detail. I installed it on an impact driver with the compact battery and since the clip extends beyond the end of the tool where the battery mounts, it was a momentary concern that it might not be compatible with those batteries. Thankfully some designer must have thought about that or it was a happy accident. A very slight thing that didn't look the same as the tools that I bought with clips was the finish. The finish looks cheaper, less polished or shiny. I don't know what the difference is but it was not the same as the OEM clips installed when I took them out of the box. I feel silly even noticing something that is going to be laying in sawdust and grease and whatnot but I did notice so I am mentioning it. While I noticed, it doesn't bother me because I am really not the kind of guy to worry about the appearance of the tools but when it was side by side with the other one, it was noticeable. If you are the type of person that will matter to, just note it. As you can see didn't take any stars away for that but someone else might care.

Good strong steel clips.
The description indicated that the screws did not come with the clips. They did, five screws for five clips. The clips are made very well. Sturdy, not easily bent or distorted out of shape. They fit perfectly on my tools. Very pleased with them.

Perfect! Accept no substitutes!
If you have DeWalt tools, get these. Don’t mess around with anything else. I got supposedly universal Husky brand clips at Home Depot. The stupid screws were too short. These fit, and they fit perfectly.
