Great for both lefties and righties!
This DeWalt drill holder is great for left hand and right hand users! Bit bigger than I would like it but it gets the job done, no more looking around for your drill or having some one hand it to you. It's great for if you are trying to get a job done effeciently, or if you are in the field highly recommend!

Works well with impact driver or drill driver
DEWALT Impact Drill Holster is a great addition to add to my toolbelt. The holster looks really cool, is well-made, and works well. It is designed to work with an impact drill but also works well with my regular drill driver. I actually feel that it holds the drill driver better. It seems that the shorter impact driver has a chance to fall out if you are moving around and don't have it buckled in. Perhaps not, as I have not had a problem with it yet. It has small holders that I assume are for holding driver bits. I will not be using the holders. With the belt on, I can't easily see the bits. In addition, the bits can easily fall out of the holders. I have had it happen. Too easy to lose bits using those holders. I will use the pouch that I have on my toolbelt for that. Overall, I love using this pouch to hold my drill driver or impact driver. It makes it quick and easy to have the tool ready to use.

Better for lefties
This is a nicely made, very heavy duty impact driver holster made to be worn on your left. The description says for left or right handed, which I guess is true, as long as you wear it on your left side. Wearing it on the right, the holster is designed so that the handle would be facing forward which I guess is fine if you use your driver with the battery up and the business end down. Otherwise you would have to turn it over every time, not to mention the fact that the handle facing forward is going to get in the way and is likely to hang up on something, like the step of a ladder. You could turn the driver the other way in the holster I suppose but then the retention wouldn't hold it in place. It's a nice piece, made to be worn on the left. The additional pockets provide space for additional bits and extensions.

Great gift!
I got this for my husband after watching him try to carry his impact up a ladder with him! I thought it would be a lot safer for him to have a holster that could carry that for him and he could use both of his hands to climb the ladder! Apparently he did used to have one until he lost it and said that he had been planning on getting another but had been too busy! So, I'll be back to purchase another I'm sure! They're good quality & will last forever as long as you don't lose it! :)

This put my wife out of a job
Up to now, whenever I was doing a construction project, I'd put my impact driver down *somewhere* and when I'd need it again, I'd always call for my wife to find it and hand it to me. Those days are over. This does what it's supposed to. A convenient place to keep the impact driver during projects. Having the little compartments for spare bits is a nice addition, since I use several. It has a strap on it with a clip. I assume this is to keep it in place, but I don't see myself using it. It'd probably be handy if you were riding a horse, but I'll probably just cut mine off.

Excellent quality cordless drill holster
You know how it is when you are doing a project and you keep needing the drill but you keep setting it down so you can do other things with your hands? Of course, you do. Well, this holster gives you a secure and convenient place to put the drill down without putting it out of reach. It fits securely onto your belt and stays where you put it. It is convenient and time saving. 5 stars.

Holds your DeWalt drill driver securely while switching between tasks. Very handy not to keep bending over to pick up my drill all the time.
