Wow.. hot knife through butter!
I got some bits with my makita drill, they seemed to do pretty well, better than another cheap set I had anyway. This dewalt bit though...wow, it drills through brick like a regular bit through wood, its crazy fast.

Durability
I bought 5 but the 1 I used lasted for the 30+ holes into concrete/stone wall stone I needed to drill.

Don't buy any other kind of drill bit!
They last way longer, drill much faster, and wear on your chuck much less, than any other chuck-drill masonry bits. There's a reason German engineering has a good reputation. The ridges on the shank are fantastic for keeping the bit from spinning in the drill chuck. Not having to change worn bits as often saves a lot of time. These bits have been my go-to for a long time, and I have had a difficult time finding them in big-box stores.

Good quality and durability
Coming from someone with very hard concrete ceilings in his apartment, these fit the bill. I had tried a few cheaper (local hardware store) bits and in a few holes I must have either hit rebar or aggregate because they simply couldn't get past it before they burned out. These guys did the job nicely and still have plenty of life left. Something to note, the 3" length includes 1" of triangle-ground shaft. Into concrete, and particularly with a hammer drill, you need a good grip on your bit so that 1" isn't available for drilling. Deepest hole you can realistically get with this bit is 2" which was perfect for my 1.75" screws. FYI - anyone using concrete screws, (tapcon, etc.) this is the right bit for 1/4" dia x 1 3/4 length or shorter. For surviving concrete that's bested several other bits (they literally couldn't get deeper and burned out trying) I'm happy to give 5 stars. The price when I purchased was maybe a bit higher than retail, but a couple cents difference saved me a trip to a big-box hardware store since the local guys didn't have this exact size.

Went into cement with ease
This bit plus my compact hammer drill made drilling small holes in cement so easy. It was one of those jobs where after you are done you feel good about things because you had the right tools at the right place.

It broke
It broke on me (the tip ground into a nub), but because it's so inexpensive, I replaced it and kept on going.

Drills through hardened steel no problem!
After reading online that these masonry bits could drill through hardened steel, I decided I'd give it a try since this is fairly cheap. It certainly did the job! I'd absolutely wrecked 2 titanium 5/32 bits trying to drill through some steel that was hardened by welding. I didn't even have to sharpen this bit for it to chew through that hardened steel like butter. A bit of oil and about 30 seconds later it had a nice clean hole through it. I'll definitely be buying more of these if I ever have to drill through hardened steel again. Just for reference, I was running this in a drill press at 300RPM.
