Comfortable. Perfect!
My husband works construction and said this is the best he has ever had. It is comfortable and is definitely a relief to his back. the belt only complaint is that it does get too hot, better breathing material would be nice, otherwise the best he has ever had to work with.

Listen up
Ok everyone just a quick thing for everyone says clips broke or replacing a old one. All dewalt tools are backed by a lifetime warranty they have no choice but to replace any equipment or tool or anything with the dewalt logo that breaks . Btw I have never double paid for not one dewalt item and sometimes just when I want a new one I send the old back !!!! Been doing it for 16 years

Relief From Gravity
I've been wearing these for a few weeks now, and I'm right at home in them. It beats the hell out of having all that weight on your hips. With these suspenders in place I need only bring my belt up to snug; no tightness necessary. I anticipate a bit less comfort in the summer heat, but the benefits of transfering weight will keep me in them. My biggest issue with them is lack of length. At 6'3" I couldn't adjust them to down where I needed them. Most of the adjustment is in the back straps, so even trying had the cell phone holster going up on my collarbone. I solved the problem by making my own hardware out of ceiling suspension wire. That also helped solve the second-worst issue. With the suspenders holding up and the weight of the tool belt pulling down, I was experiencing a slow, steady crushing of my belt. You might not have this problem with a heavy leather belt, but mine is some sort of Cordura-type stuff. By hooking to the belt loops on either side of my pouches with my home-made hardware, I got the pressure off the belt itself. And I really wish they had used steel instead of plastic (however good of a plastic it may be) for the intersections on the front. I fear they won't last as long as everything else, but we'll see. I don't even fasten the chest strap; don't need it.

A Solid Choice For My Situation ...
I do woodworking in my garage and have these tool belts that have this leather pouch that you put stuff in and I have NEVER got them to behave themselves .... THAT IS UNTIL NOW The way the product is constructed you DO NOT 'thread' a belt through the LOOPS. Instead the LOOPS are heavy-duty wide velcro where you wrap them around the belt! Which for my 'tool-belt-leather-bag' thing is 100% perfect. Also ... I got them for a second reason ... I have lost a TON of weight over the past 100 days and NONE absolutely NONE of my pants fit anymore ... Can you say "Stand UP Pants Fall DOWN?" So this solution is PERFECT for my normal now totally too big pants. I put a belt in as usual and just loop the big velcro straps around it (two in front two in back) and ... BANG! "Bob's Your Uncle!" ALSO [1] Velcro closure CELL-PHONE pocket .... WOOT! [2] Nice pocket for pens, pencils, skinny little flashlights ... WOOT!

Tough stuff!
These suspenders are great except for one small thing. So the good stuff first. The nylon webbing is light weight and makes its performance impervious to any moisture. This is important for me because I sweat all the way through the webbing every day while working on high steel. For this reason leather has never really worked well fir me for very long. They are really tough. My tool belt has almost 40 lbs of tools and fasteners on it at any given time during the day. For me, this kind of harness is an absolute must just to keep my belt up! The fact that the suspender leads are adjustable is good because it allows you to use the harness with any width belt. However, this also means that the suspender can slip along the belt. This has the effect of distributing the load of the belt oddly. I ended up having to rivet the suspenders to the belt to keep them properly placed. Nevertheless, this is a great harness

They actually do the job - well done.
These are great. I wear canvas style work pants, and in the summer they get very heavy with sweat. Regular clip-on suspenders from the big box stores have chewed through the waistbands and rusted, so I started looking for a solution that looped around the belt and didn't have metal parts. It turns out there are few choices designed like that, and this is one of the best. They are clunky to be sure, but very durable and the padded shoudler straps are comfortable for all-day wear doing hard work. I really like that the design uses belt attachment loops, and the chest clip makes sure they don't slip over your shoulder when you get into an odd position on a jobsite. I use these with a heavy duty belt and they have really done the job. I'd prefer a pair with no little pockets on the shoulder straps, but that is not worth taking a star away from a good tool.

GREAT suspenders, even for a HEAVY belt !!!
I had them and thought they were terrible so I used 1/2" panhead screws to make the suspenders attach to my belt, but eventually that didn't last. I ended up using small machine screws with nuts and washers. I ordered another pair nontheless for my belt at home because they are padded, and cheap, but taking the 3 minutes to try to figure out the velcrow is obviously the way to go. I read the review on here describing the way and wished it was more in depth but looking at the suspenders it all made sense. Above the velcrow is a plastic buckle with an unusual looking gap, it is meant for the velcrow to be threaded through, and there is only 1 way that can happen, with the velcrow still being able to connect. It does work I assure you, I feel stupid for being so hasty but live and learn, right? My way worked, but Dewalts was easier. I was initially disappointed but am now a full supporter. This is a great product!!!

Excellent but product headline description needs amending. It’s a set of braces not a tool bag!
Product arrived well packaged and on schedule. Great genuine piece of sturdy, well made Dewalt kit that’s fully adjustable and does the job. Makes all the difference as an addition to a Dewalt tool belt as shifts weight from waist to shoulders and back making it stay where it should and more comfortable to wear. Used with plenty of kit in/on the tool belt and not had any problem with the Velcro straps (that attach it to a tool belt) coming undone under load. My only design observation is the pouch on the chest strap needs to be wider and deeper so it can take a more current iPhone mobile and the like, which have been around for years (eg my XR will no way fit). The current pouch design is a wasted opportunity to provide a safe accessible home for one. The headline description of the product urgently needs amending. Although the Dewalt ref DG 5132 & photo is correct for tool belt braces, the narrative says “Tool bag black” which is confusing. Can only assume it’s a major typo. Other buyers had submitted reviews for braces, not a tool bag, which helped clarify and avoid the risk that a tool bag might arrive instead of braces if I ordered! Suggest it needs sorting a bit sharpish!

Decent
It’s good for the price just feels able flimsy in the straps and buckles. Though over all I’m happy with the product as the price reflects this

Supports well
Comfortable and able to take the weight from the belt, happy with it .. the pockets are not really suited for phones unless they are small , pencil maybe . But didn’t buy a phone holder :-)
