Best belt ever

I had one of these before and my wife got tired of the smell because I'd worn it so long. So I bought two new ones to rotate between wearing and washing. The bottle opener works!

Holds Tight and Useful. Great replacement to my Patagonia Webbed Belt.

Loving this design, after a week of use this is my new go-to everyday belt. The phillips head is quality and really why I got it. You can use a knife for a flat head most the time, but a good phillips is the tool I always need on me. Of course, the other built in tools are nice, and the Medium I would say is what most people will wear (33 waist and it comes 3.5" past my first belt loop on pants or 6.5" past the buckle so a 38 should have about 1.5" to spare roughly). I really like the subtle detail in that they cut a portion of the webbed belt tip at a 45° angle, so it easily slides into the buckle. Cinch it tight and it holds well, better than my Patagonia webbed belt this replaces (and half the price). 5 stars, you won't regret this belt and I might buy a second. I also have a 5.11 webbed belt, and what I will note is that this is a thinner webbing and not like the double thick of the 5.11, which personally I like. Testing it with an IWB holster and it holds great, not sure if you were to load it up with a ton of weight like an officers belt what would happen but for every day use this is perfect and comfortable. New it is a bit rigid, but like all webbed belts I'm sure it's gonna soften up and be my favorite belt for years to come.

Way cheaper than other EDC "Hook and loop only" belts (not Velcro ones) after a little grinding

Just what I was hoping for. A quad-glide like a tri-glide but more slots encase the webbing slips. I cut a slot to make it more like a TI-hook belt or G-hook, or Abl B19 belt but at 50% to 66% cheaper, and the G-hook is only 1 inch wide requiring you sew a 1" strap to a wider 1.5" or 2" strap. With the loop around the outside bar there is less protruding from the edges and less chance for printing. With the strap wrapped through either center slots and wrapped back or straight along like the Time Hook belt works great with no slipping do to the straight edges. To bad this same thing was not in Aluminum or a slightly smaller buckle and even bent a little bit might be better. Grind it with the cut off wheel and file then sand to get a glossy smooth finish. Next time I would make the Hook edge a couple mm more. You can add stiffer scuba straps also. Update - see the new pic w wider slot for the loop, it's much nicer and still stays on w no problems, it just comes off easier now. Also I like the other way of threading the belt in that pic bc it pulls the edge in to the body. FYI - 240 grit sandpaper paper works great to smooth it out to prevent fibers from being cut up. Also a Dremel or grinder w cut off wheels will work.

Literally a little rough around the edges.

It’s fairly well made, but the webbing is a cheaper stiff material and the edges of the buckle are sharp enough to do damage to anything you might brush up against. I bought my son a 686 Original Tool Belt and, the tools being much nicer plus having a quality leather belt, is totally worth double the price.

UPDATE: After three years of fairly frequent use, the buckle is still going strong and I'm looking to update the belt strap due to fraying. Still very usable, just a lot of cosmetic fraying over the years. Good and sturdy belt. Looks great! The buckle is made of thick steel and will undoubtedly last a long time. I can't say that I expect to use the features of this regularly, as I typically have a multi tool laying around like most people, and you don't really look for the chance to whip your belt off if your pants if you're a well-balanced person! Regardless, I know this would work in a pinch during a survival situation, it also locks in quite snugly when you double back, as the instructions recommend. Definitely use the bottle opener feature more than anything else! Only 4-stars because the (very good quality) belt material itself definitely starts to fray, mostly at the fused end but also slightly along the edges. It's not too bad and it's easy to re-seal the end with proper heating, but a strap replacement will eventually be needed in the long term. This is due to the sharp cut edges on the buckle, but that still doesn't make this a less desirable item

Made very well

Great Belt. Very sturdy and comfortable enough. It is made very well and the quick tool access if needed is a cool feature. I bought it for my partner who loves it. They have a 30" waste and I got the medium which fits fine but is a little long, but it is the smallest offered. Recommended for gadget and tool lovers. I also recommend the Leatherman tool bracelet as another cool gift for tool lovers. ????

Great belt - I was tired of my leather belts ...

Great belt - I was tired of my leather belts breaking or developing some creases and discoloration at the crease line. This may develop a crease line, but the color does not change and it won't develop cracks and creases that are as visible as leather. My only complaint: This particular buckle does have a bit of slippage compared to other Bison models. Get the simple carbon fiber buckle version (unless you really need all the tools on this belt), and there is zero slippage - I have tested both (I do like having the tools on this belt however).
