Great for wood shop

now I got a good supply of quality strainers

I paid a dollar something( close to $2) for 4 of these at the big orange home store. As I was doing my painting project, I needed more so I went back 2 days later: stock out!!!!! Screw them, now I got a good supply of quality strainers. As a bit of info, I am not a new paint sprayer, but I finally decided that anything you put paint into your gun. strain it first! Never having enough strainers always caused to me decide the paint was 'clean enough'. Then I spent hours fighting poor pressure at the tip, and cleaning the little round screen at the bottom of the HVLP bottle. Get a bunch of strainers and use them religiously.

190 Micron for Base Coat and Clears

Purchased a box of 100. My box says made in Canada. Strainers are 190 micron, which is great for thinner paints like base coats and clears, however these will still work for thicker mixed paints like primer, it will just take a little longer for the paint to flow through.

Work great for my spray painting filtering

very strong filter, holds a full load of paint while it filters into a spray painter canister. tabs are a nice touch for helping with disposal.

Good filter system

Good filter system, but should have bought some less fine for acrylic latex paint. The wait time was too long for this type of paint. Will keep this in mind for next purchase. Should be okay for stains or oil base.

Great works on everything

They say it’s only for water based but I’ve used on everything from lacquer to shellac to poly to oil. Great product

I returned my purchase of this item, because when ...

I returned my purchase of this item, because when I started reading the package all indications (to me anyways) is that these filters are for automotive painting. Is this is not accurate, something should be done to clarify either the website description or the product packaging.

Professional quality filter cones

I have used these professionally for many years. Initially they will appear to be more expensive than other filter cones, but consider this: You need a cone strong enough to hold the weight of paint as it filters, cheaper flimsier cones might collapse into the paint or otherwise cause problems. Now how does that extra cost look? Personally, I think this is an insurance against problems when painting could be the final stage after maybe hours spent on a project.
