Within its limitations this is good stuff
Epoxy comes with a wonderful variety of properties today. Take the time to understand those properties and you will have great success. This is an amazingly convenient product packages in a slick, self mixing applicator. It can fix some thing fast in an emergency or bond 2 pieces quickly enough so that you can hold them with your fingers instead of clamping them. Good- Convenience Clip off the end, twist on the mixing spout and push the plunger. That is all. Fully mixed epoxy right where you want it. I had a situation where the outer layer of the laminated skin on an RV had come unglued in a small area under an access hole. Stick in the nozzle push the plunger. Wiggle it a bit to spread and hold it together with a gloved palm while drinking some Iced Tea. Mission accomplished. Good- Fast dry. See above. Repair done fast. Although full strength will hot happen for an hour it will hold the pieces together with five minutes. That five minutes was just enough to let it run down and spread around before starting to dry. Good- This is a very runny epoxy. See above. It was liquid enough to get down in the spaces I needed it to before setting. Bad- This is a very runny epoxy. When I tried to use it to fill screw holes in the same situation it ran back out or dribbled down the inside if the hole and did not do any filling. In this situation a more Gell like product is better. Bad- This stuff sets fast. If you have more than one thing you need to glue you may be better off with a slower epoxy. The stuff will set in the mixing tube if you don't keep it moving and although there are two tubes with it it takes about a quarter of the product to fill the mixing tube so it is best to use it in one go. Ugly- You get a half ounce with this. Since you will leave a quarter of it in the mixing tube this is extremely expensive compared to getting a larger container and mixing it yourself. Robs recommendation: Think about what you want. If you want a quick shot of liquid epoxy with clean hands and no preparation then go for it. I liked it so much I got another kit to keep in the RV for emergencies. On the other hand if you want more than a quarter oz, something a little thicker to stay where you put it or a little bit of working time then pick a different one. If you use enough to make it worthwhile you might want separate gel and hardener with optional thickener (check a hardware or boat store or website)

Great stuff!
Devcon epoxy has never failed me. I've used it on wood, metals, etc. You have to use some common sense; if your using it on smooth surfaces, you have to rough them up a bit. It may or may not work on plastic, mostly because of the multitudes of different plastic out there. Other reviews have complained about the tips drying out and making you waste some of the epoxy. Folks, you don't have to use the tip. Just put the 2 parts on a clean smooth scrap of anything not porous and mix it manually with a nail, toothpick, whatever. It's never dries out for me (kept up to a year). Others have mentioned that it doesn't always come out evenly. That's true. You have to be careful when you push it out. One tip that might help is to hold the tip straight up and gently squeeze out any air bubbles. This work 80% of the time for me. The other times it doesn't seem to matter if it's not perfect. One more thing. Their customer service is excellent! I called with a question about the lower temperature limit (wonder what would happen if night temp went down to mid 40's). I talk to an actual engineer that knew his stuff. The curing will slow down as it got colder, and the next day the chemical reaction will pick up again and finish the cure.

Devcon Epoxy
Just follow instructions. But have area ready because you do not want any delays. Have a damp and dry cloth available if needed. Once the glue is in place it hold well.

Great product for Crafters, But Flow Can be Tricky...
I have had some good success with this product, which was recommended by a milliner friend. My *only* complaint, is when extruding the liquids, in order to combine them on my mixing surface, sometimes, the flow is uneven. This means that one side with begin to flow, with a second or so delay for the other chamber to flow. Not sure how to fix that, and I have used tooth pics to keep the openings clear. Other than that, the bond is nice and strong, and when applied to jewelry, seems to work very well for me.I heard from someone else, that this also beats E6000, in that it won't began releasing it's hold if it gets to hot or cold, which actually happened to me with E6000! If anyone has any suggestions on the flow problem, please respond-thanks! :D

Overall a solid idea and product.
Works as advertised. Comes out pre-mixed, but I still mixed it a bit more. Two things I wasn't crazy about. If your not careful the plunger will go down uneven causing an uneven mix. It's kinda a one shot deal with the mixing tubes, which I get, but then it limits you to 2 uses. You could get rid of the mixing tubes once you are done and potentially use the rest. Overall a solid idea and product.

Only buy if you have a big job to do
This epoxy works great but unless you have a big job to do, don't buy this particular item. It comes with 2 spiral nozzles which mix the epoxy perfectly, but when done you have to throw the nozzle away. After your 2nd use, then what? Mix it by hand I guess. A lot of epoxy is wasted that's left in the nozzle. This is definitely not for small jobs. I do love it because it does what I bought it for, but this particular item can be a waste of money if all you have are small jobs once in awhile.
