Overall, I'd buy again.
I love the overall design and the thread is good quality in my opinion. Some is thinner than others which doesn't make much sense but it doesn't look different when stitched. However, the pattern could be better. It's very small and rather hard to read. The symbols could have more diversity as well and not be hand drawn in the key. Having four different black triangles but facing different directions can get very confusing. Some color choices are questionable and I might substitute them. Personal preference though.

Maybe I can help you...
Great embroidery!!! The numbers of the threads on the paper panel are in the same order as on the right side of the embroidery (i.e., number 1 thread is on the very top, number 2 is second top, and so on). Meaning, the numbers on the paper panel from 1 to 30 correspond to the names of the colors on the schematic drawing from top to bottom. You do not need to look at the painting to guess the color. Just - for your convenience- write the number of the hole with the thread next to the DMC color.

Great Customer Service
First I bought a frame and glass and received it quickly and was happy. Then I realized I ordered the wrong size and it was too large for my picture (my error, not theirs!) and so I chatted online with Customer Service and the rep was very helpful and I ended up deciding to buy a mat instead of returning the frame. The Customer Service rep helped me figure out what mat size was needed in order to fit the frame I already received and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was pleased with the experience from beginning to end.

I have a new grandson and this is so cute. I like all the baby animals. Just perfect for him.

Absolutely adorable
My niece is doing the baby’s room in woodland animals, so this was perfect. Only problem is she is having a girl. So I will be replacing the blue border with pink as well as the lettering. I will also be trying to fit in the length as well. There are some quarter stitches so a beginner may not know what to do as there really aren’t good detailed instructions. Can’t wait until it’s done!!

REALLY difficult to read chart
I've been an avid cross stitcher for decades. I bought this kit to stitch for a friend's new baby; the pattern looked cute, and I liked the border. The kit was sealed when I received it. The threads seemed to be, well, not the best quality; they knot easily and don't feel as sleek as DMC, but I powered on. I suppose one could switch out the threads with DMC, but then why pay for a kit? The chart/grid is REALLY hard on the eyes (and more so on the BRAIN). The symbols they chose to represent each color were a terrible choice; a lot of them look very similar, making what should be an easy project way more frustrating than it needed to be. The thread colors don't seem to be as true to the picture as one would expect, either. This is my first time with a Tobin kit -- and probably my last time, though I will finish this one.
