Looks real, however

I was a bit disappointed with the dull finish and white bluish markings all over. They could of spent more time on finishing and been more vibrant on the paint. It's NOT shiny like the photos. Guess I'll buy some clear coat at Lowes to see if that helps

Very well painted and delivered very well packaged.

My turtle came in perfect shape and is very colorful. I bought it for a condo area garden by the ocean. We get many sea turtles that have nests near us so the turtle statue is very fitting. It is not as big as I imagined but we love it.

Beautifully Detailed

I purchased this statue as a going away gift for a young Marine leaving her first unit as she loves sea turtles. When I first purchased this item, I wondered why it took so long to arrive as I missed the timing of her departure. Once it finally arrived, I was in awe at the defined detail that went into this statue. It was masterfully painted and actually looks exactly like the picture you see as its example. It has a good weight on it, however, it isn't a heavy item. If I had to purchase this item again for whatever reason, I would definitely do so without hesitation.

Not what I expected. Appears poor quality.

I was initially very excited to receive this statue because it was made of resin and I have resin birds in my backyard. Resin is a preferred material for outdoor decor. This product does not appear to be quality resin due to the light weight and feel. ***BE ADVISED-The color is not as rich as shown in the advertisement. I had to return the first turtle due to imperfections. There were multiple areas where there was no color. The second turtle had the same imperfections but closer to the bottom of the turtle so not as noticeable and I hope to be able to cover the paint runs and lack of color by painting it myself. The pictures attached are from the first turtle. I would only recommend this purchase if the price is low with free shipping and you understand the paint job will have flaws.

Not happy with the finish

Not happy with the finish...which is very drab, and not nearly as vibrant and realistic as the picture. The statue is fine, however there are a couple of nicks. I can make this better with a little paint, however, it's kind of annoying I have to do this for an item I paid this much for. I'm disappointed because I have many large Toscano pieces and they are all lovely.

Looks great on my lani!

When I bought a house in Florida I fell in love with the Sea Turtle and have been looking for a great one to put out by the pool and I found it in this one. It is exactly as described, seems to very durable and is exactly what I wanted.

Beautiful Sea Turtle

I purchased 2 for my new pool. I love the detail that went into this sea turtle. Many have complimented on how beautiful they are. I am so glad I found these. This was exactly what I was looking for.

Smashed

Very disappointed arrived promptly outer box appeared fine inner plain box slight damage I open it oh no polystarin bits all over the floor ! Packing disintergrating ! Turtle leg smashed off other various bits of turtle in bag, only fit for tip really now such a shame as it looked,really lifelike and well made. Really fed up as mess all over floor and difficult to repack now going to take some time .As a prime member hopefully won't get stuck for postage! Mean while I will be vacuuming for some time ! Such a shame I could cry!

Authentic

This is a quite weighty item, its not going to blow away let's put it that way. I was not aware that turtles bring Luck, but i will take whatever i can get. Mine was perfect, no damage in transit, I've uploaded some pictures to show you, excuse the mess on the floor, the packaging was a nightmare, so much dirt and polystyrene was in the box. Anyway, the turtle was well made, the shell and legs were perfect, the head was good but the turtle looks so miserable, i guess they normally look like that anyway. Mine wasn't that well painted or finished underneath, i know you can't see it, but i think that more care could of been taken. Overall i like it, its well made, quite robust, and it looks good in my garden.
