Dinosaur Great in shape but color not true to website picture

Actual product not the same coloring; the one received is almost all green. Would have liked the product better if coloring was the same as the picture shown on both the Amazon and Design Toscano websites.

Wir sind von diesem Burschen begeistert! So lebensecht, als wäre er nach einem echten Dino modelliert. Er wird künftig unseren Pool bewachen, Bilder folgen dann. Tipp für alle, die ihren Eierdieb auch im Freien aufstellen wollen: vorher mit reichlich Klarlack matt besprühen. Dann hält er nochmal 60 Millionen Jahre :o)

It's a knee-high plastic dinosaur - what else did you expect?

What's to say? It's a knee-high plastic dinosaur. A bit silly, but I've retained my childhood love of dinosaurs, and having something like this in the garden appeals more than twee bunnies/hedgehogs/frogs. It arrived in an outer cardboard that contained a snug inner cardboard box that contained huge slabs of polystyrene that contained a poly bag that contained the dinosaur. The polystyrene was intensely irritating in that it soon got everywhere, but especially all over me, and wouldn't come off again! Then did it all over again when I tried to put it into a bin liner... and then the bin liner managed to get stuck in the wheelie bin so it didn't get emptied into the bin lorry... suffice to say that it took a couple of months to dispose of all of it. Anyway, the dinosaur: it's about knee-high. Very light (but heavy enough not to be blown over), obviously resin. Unsurprisingly garish! The base is very smooth, so it probably works best on a smooth surface. There's a small hole on the bottom, so heavens knows what might crawl inside and make its home in the hollow interior? I plonked it down on a flattish bit of what was once a rockery but is now rather ivy-infested. It's deliberately not visible to passers-by, otherwise I suspect it would soon disappear! I can hardly see the egg for the overgrown grass (that shouldn't be there at all anyway...) It's near a birdbath, but doesn't seem to bother the birds. Three months on, it seems to have survived a generally damp English summer, including at least one very gusty night, and it looks much the same as it did on day one.

This dinosaur is in my opinion very life like and also very ugly as dinosaurs are. I was going to put it out side as a bit of a joke but my 2 year old granddaughter took one look at it picked it up and cuddled it announcing she wanted it for her bedroom. She can not be swayed that it would be better in the garden . I think this would be fantastic in the garden coming out of the undergrowth in a home that has dinosaur lovers .

This is a beautifully crafted dinosaur. I am impressed by the realism of this thing. It looks really rather lovely sitting on my patio where I hope it will do a fine job of deterring wandering cats. It is not heavy. I am pleased with this statue. It should be said that this company does a rather fine selection of garden gnomes as well as other statues, including classical statues like Michaelangelo's DAVID.
