Bought this for my daughter-in-law's birthday. It's the perfect addition to her garden and she loves it. She said it's a joy to look at, the sweet expression on her face with her outstretched arms, so we named her Joy!

Looks Great, Syands Up To OK Winds Roaring Down The Plain

Nicely detailed, and the girl is simply beguiling. Looks great in the garden - we paired it with the boy fishing which makes for a nice little scene - all who've seen them ask where we found them. I told one old buddy a long story about the artist and I - how I befriended him when he was homeless and how he gifted me this original work. I can spin a yarn, and he bought it until it became ridiculous, when I said, "but you can just buy one on Amazon if you like." It was funny, but you just had to be there. I now have a total of five Design Toscano statues in the garden, the other three almost twice the height of the girl - well, one is a little more than twice to be accurate. I also ordered two friezes from them. You get a very nice, classic look with DT statues. And lots of compliments, even in a garden that gets plenty of the same on its own. But when a new visitor rounds the corner of the house to step into the back garden the first thing they see is the girl and boy posed together and they stop in their tracks as they absorb the scene, usually with a gasp. They just don't see it coming, and want to know how we keep the garden so nice and where did you get those wonderful statues. Our recent landscaping project turned out nice indeed, and Design Toscano adds to the impact. Not affiliated with them in any way, just love their product. They ship fast, and respond to inquiries - someone there understands how to serve a customer. The statues themselves are light enough to carry/move, but heavy enough to stand up in Okie winds. Highest recommendations for product and seller quality.

Lightweight, easy to manage but looks like real cement statue.

Placed her in my flower bed in front yard. Lots of compliments. Love her size. The 18 in. was plenty for my 4x4 ft. garden. Love the fact she is " basking in God's glory," so sweet! Placed gorilla glue on tops of arms where they connect to body so they don't fall off. Also , I repurposed a hanging decor sign from Dollar Tree. This is about 16 in long and 4 or 5 in wide. Turned it over and painted it grey, applied statue using gorilla glue in middle of board. Placed a small flowerpot on either side for stability. We get a lot of wind at times. Don't want her to tip over and break. It is very stable and I don't have to worry. I just love her and this is exactly what I was looking for. So glad they made it affordable. Could never afford cement one and would be too heavy. N.E. Pa. cold winters so I could just pick her up and store her with board attached. Easy Peasy

A joyful garden addition

Just looking at this statue will make you smile. We added it to our backyard where we can see it from our kitchen window in our backyard bird area. Lightweight yet stable. A happy addition to our backyard.

Assembly

This is a lovely statue that will be in my backyard. I didn't realize that her arms would need to be attached. I don't see any info about it. How is that done?

Lovely well made statue

Beautiful statue small but excellent detail as aways with Tuscany items , unfortunately for me within a couple of days of me getting this I dropped something from a above windowsill and it fell and broke in half but have gllued it and as a clean break other than myself nonoe should know so needs care where to place this originally mine was to go outside but too nice so I put it in my porch and to be honest in light of the bad weather we have had recently I don't think she would be oversafe outside as not over heavy but lovely all the same

it would have been 5 stars but for the fact that next day it had gone down £2 l felt let down. also it does not tell you that it is not fully weather prove, also you have to assemble the arms..but having wrote that is very lovely. And l wished l had bought the larger one.

Pretty but appears fragile.

It is slightly smaller than expected, and the 'finish' where the arms fit onto the body could be significantly improved. I will put it in the garden in a sheltered spot and see how well it fares.
