I have been eyeing this lady for a while. It went out of stock once when I finally decided to go ahead and get her. Ever since then I’d periodically check and when I saw her back in stock I didn’t hesitate and I’m glad I didn’t. She’s a great piece to add to my living room decor.

Very lovely for my memorial altar

This new batch of restock seems to have addressed some of the issues with other reviews. Received it today and it was well packaged. No bubbles in the resin, no issues with color, no rough or patchy areas, no cracks. The bottom was painted nicely not sloppy at all. It looks stunning and is perfect for my daughters memorial space in my home. I waited a long time to get this and I'm so happy it came perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful bust.

Make no Mistake - It's plastic!

Make no mistake, this is just a plastic cast. It weighs less than a lb and unless you put it somewhere where nothing can bump it, it will fall over. I may have not seen the spot where it tells you how much it weighs, but I thought it would weigh at least 3 lbs - nope! I wanted to put it on our new bookshelves in-between a set of books, but it slides everywhere. Outside, on the porch, the wind knocked it over. Looks great though.

Love it, but..

I debated giving this 3 stars versus 4, decided on 4 because the overall look of the piece deserves it. It’s truly beautiful, I bought this for my Halloween table top display and am in love with it, however.. there is some serious chipping on the face. It’s not anything that draws your eye or calls your attention too terribly and you can’t see it unless you’re sitting directly in front of it, but once you do notice it it’s hard to notice anything else, and it’s substantial enough that I would not have bought this in person for the price if I would’ve seen it at first.. BUT, I am happy with it and am glad I bought this, would’ve gone back for it damage and all I like it so much, which is why it gets 4 stars.

Excellent quality and detail, great for Halloween or other use (depending on lighting/setting)

I've purchased other items from Design Toscano in the past and have always been pleased with their products -- including this one. The bust is very detailed and well made; I think it's well worth the price. For Halloween, I put it in our front bay window on a black pedestal (plant stand) I already had, and lit it below with two small spotlights (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09X2V7H29?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). With the lights off behind, the contrast and detail makes it look very ghostly, at a quality level consistent with Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. (In fact, in this setting, it looks very similar in effect to the Roman busts on that ride with eyes that follow you.) Apart from that, I will be glad to use it in a different setting after Halloween -- in our living room next to our grand piano. In that setting, it will look beautiful instead of creepy.

Insidious is gorgeous

I adore this. Wanted one for a while, seen it for sale on other sites for £80 upwards so this was better value. Good weight, better quality than expected. Looks fabulous on my shelf even though hubby calls her insidious. I love her.

Absolutely stunning piece of art!

I wanted some pieces of art to go in my lounge as I've recently decorated it in an 'African theme', and whilst searching I came across this bust. Firstly, I have to say I was impressed with how well packaged it was - it was boxed twice and surrounded by lots of 'padding'. Secondly, it's actually a lot bigger than I imagined it to be, which just makes it even better. Lastly, it truly is a beautiful piece of artwork. It's exquisitely detailed and very realistic. I'm so glad I bought her - she has pride of place on my lounge sideboard. An investment piece for sure. Highly recommend !

Moody statement piece
