Beatifully detailed/colourful statue

Wasn't quite sure what this statue would be like, thought it might be a bit tacky and cheap looking but I was wrong! Very impressed when I received it, the detail of it is amazing and the colouring simply stunning! This statue would not be something I would normally go for but I really love it! The statue is around 10 inches high and made of a resin/crushed stone mix. The base has a soft covering so the statue can be placed on delicate surfaces without causing any damage. Beautiful statue and recommended but I have deducted one star as it is rather expensive!

Highly decorated, perfect for fans of ancient Egypt.

Bastet Egyptian goddess. .......... This is a modern interpretation of the goddess Bastet.....she is much more slinky and sexy in this form than the traditional pictures of her. Bastet was originally a lioness warrior goddess of the sun throughout most of ancient Egyptian history, but later she was changed into the cat goddess. She was the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection and cats,the daughter of Ra, the sun god. As protectress, she was seen as defender of the pharaoh, after Sekhet, the lioness and consequently of the chief god, Ra. Bastet is also known as Bast. Statue. ......... This is a mid sized statue at 10 inches high, it is made of a resin/crushed stone mix and is highly decorated. The on line photos are a good representation of the item, she is every bit as colourful as you see here. The base has a velvety covering to make sure she doesn’t scratch delicate surfaces, making her a good display item. Whilst she is robustly made she does have delicate fine detailing, with intricate hands, complete with claw like finger nails so needs to be protected from younger members of the family. If you like what you see here, you will not be disappointed.

As always i find it hard to fault this brand. Pictures never really seem to capture the quality or colours of the items listed but when recieved they are always far better than expected. She is well made with gorgeous detail and colour and although maybe not to everyones tastes it really could find a place in most homes, she certainly has in ours. Well done to this amazing brand again for introducing me to something i would never have considered for my home but now love.

Genauso wie beschrieben

Es ist genau geliefert worden was hier auch angeboten wird, sieht sehr gut aus. Wenn Bastet meines Wissen nach in Wirklichkeit auch graues Fell überall hat und eine schlichtere Kleidung, aber woher soll das jemand wissen, es sei denn man hat sie selbst schon getroffen ;)
