Was fairly easy to apply. Measured and made paper cut outs of what I would need before actually cutting the material. Make sure to clean what you're covering really well I used water and then 70% iso. Once applied I went over it with a vinyl wrap squeegee to get out any bubbles. My topmount intercooler is noticeably much cooler to the touch where it sits over the turbo even after spirited driving. Previously I could only touch it would get uncomfortably hot to the touch now it barely feels warm. I did not use a temp gun to get actual data points but there is a definite improvement. Adds some pop to the engine bay as well.

perfect quality, but the price is a bit high
Much different feeling between this stuff and the cheap one. Who have problems with adhesion- its not the adhesion, learn some "tinkering" basics. Sand down and clean the surface with alcohol- it sticks without any issues. Only drawback is the price, a 24x48 bundle would be perfect.

Great tape, add some spray adhesive to be safe
Absolutely gorgeous, definitely keeps my intake temps down. As per the heed of other peoples reviews around the internet with premature peeling of the tape, I first sprayed the item I was wrapping with 3M super 77 spray adhesive. In my case I wrapped a turbo inlet I built as it is located across my turbos hot side. Before wrapping the intake, my first few drives with the car showed heat soak after full strong pulls, especially when it is hotter outside. I installed the tape by measuring the diameter (3" in my case) and added roughly 1/8" just for complete coverage. It took a while, but I flipped every strip over and also sprayed the 3M adhesive to the back side. After a few hrs of operation, one with higher engine temps the tape performed as expected, was cool to the touch shortly after shutting down the vehicle and showed zero signs of sagging or peeling up. A few drives and days later and same results. Even sprayed it off with water to clean the road debris off. One last thing worth mentioning, any sort of radius is going to be difficult to wrap. For this I cut the wrap in half and used shorter 1.5"-2" strips to get 180 degrees of coverage properly. If you are wrapping an intake or intercooler piping and your filter or coupler is rated for same diameter, I recommend leaving the gold tape back just enough for your filter to clamp on. In my case I am running a K&N 3" cone and it was too snug to fit over the gold wrap. After a few frustrating attempts I eventually ended up scrapping one 3" section as it had gotten too beat up during attempts to install my filter to consider presentable. See attached picture of my engine for reference.

Lowered temps on intake by 30 degrees F
This tape lowered temps on average 30 degrees F for me on my cold air intake. Take your time applying it. Yes it will take a long time but it’s worth it. The rain and 100 degree days of summer so far haven’t destroyed the integrity of the tape. I’m very pleased it’s also reduced spark knock as well!

Cold air intake
It does a great job isolating the heat. I used the tape over my heat proof insulation foam and isolated my air intake compartment from the entire engine bay. In the photos you cant see it all but the hood has the heat proof foam mold to block off the heat path entirely. I used this material to make a true cold air intake where heat from the engine bay doesnt get into the intake. A cold air intake needs more than just a metal plate and a rubber seal. It needs to be isolate from the engines heat which is known as heat bleed. I ran a diagnostic reader on my air intake temp and the numbers didn't lie. After isolating the intake air temp went down significantly by 30-40 degrees. The heat out side was 71 at the time so that was the consistent factor where air can only get as cold as it is outside going into the intake of course. Overall i used this with heat proof insulation foam to make a real cold air intake and made all the difference.

Decent Product
I bought this product to wrap my plastic air intake duct to help keep the air cooler as it passes through there. The product is like packing tape but with thermal protection, so the good thing is it's flexible like packing tape and it's thin. However, if you try to wrap packing tape around a water bottle at the top where it tapers or taping something that has bends in it, you get the tape flaps that stick up and there's wrinkles and all that. So, unless you're taping something that's straight, just be prepared for lots of cutting. The other problem is, it's not very sticky; I know it's supposed to be removable but it needs to be more sticky than this. It can kinda hold on but nothing impressive, I had trouble getting some pieces just to stick to other pieces of the tape and it was barely sticking to the duct and I cleaned that as well. Even after I pressed all the tape down very well, when I came out to look at it the next day, some pieces had come undone from other pieces of the tape, and it's not like tape got all dirty while I was doing it, it was perfectly clean. But, other than that it's a good product, just make it a little more sticky!

Not the best adhesive
Not sure if it worked like I though it wad, as my iat's were lower but so was the outside temp.. The adhesive isn't the best, but I'll have to see over time and especially when it gets hot out in the sw...

Works great, great adhesion and lasted for over a year with temperatures up to around 250C (480F)
Used this in converting a countertop oven to a reflow soldering oven. It worked well and has held up perfectly. A bit pricey, but it's the only option for a task like this.

Pretty Expensive, but it looks and feels like good quality. Got the 30' roll. Defiantly didn't need the whole roll. The Glue blacking isnt too Sticky which makes applying it super easy. But wish it was a little bit more sticky. If it was cheaper and a little stickier it would be easy 5/5

Nice looks, but a little pricey.
Good product. A little difficult to place on curved surfaces but it looks and performs great. A shame it's a bit costly
