Intallation might be challenging

I would consider myself handy but this was quite a challenge to install. Valve dont come with it so make sure to order or get it at the stores before starting with the installation process. This set looks really beautiful and DELTA definitely has a good reputation with the materials used, they are very heavy duty and sturdy and well-built. The thing that I like about this is that the water and temperature handle is separate which it's easier for us to control the temp and water pressure while showering.

Nice set but didn’t work perfectly for us.

We had an older Delta set in our standup shower I wanted to replace. My husband gave me the go-ahead on this set. He first replaced the shower head and said it took just a minute and was an easy process. The water/handle part didn’t match up to our 25 yr old pipes and we weren’t able to switch that out without having a plumber come redo all our pipes. The shower head didn’t impress me but I’ve used worse. The water pressure isn’t that strong, and our last one was very strong. It has a couple different options but none of them were great. They were just ok. The set looks nice but I was underwhelmed with the shower head and disappointed the water controls didn’t match up to replace.

Well made and looks nice

I already had a compatible Delta universal valve from my previous shower fixtures, so this was a pretty straightforward swap. I got a friend who is pretty handy to install it for me and he said it was easy. Im pleased with it so far. It feels high quality and is nice for a small shower.

Beautiful fixture

So, I already owned Delta as it is what was installed in the home when it was built in 2008. A word to the wise, if you do not already have a Delta fixture, go get the instructions from their website and review before purchasing. I did not have to worry about this but did not know until I went to install that they point out using their water exchange unit. I don't know if you can use any other so if you are thinking of this and don't have Delta, go get the instructions and look at what is needed before committing. Otherwise, this is a beautiful fixture and my absolute favorite part is the two handle control. One handle to control the flow of water and the other to control temperature. You can set the temp and never worry about it again. Every time you turn it on it will be set to the temp that you want. This feature just blew me away and once I got to try it, I loved it. Especially with babies and toddlers, the bath water isn't supposed to be too hot so once you find the sweet spot that gives you the temp you need, you don't have to keep guessing every time you start the bath for your child. The finishing of the fixtures is beautiful and wipes clean easily but the ability to set the temp and leave it, that alone is worth the value.

Real easy

It was so easy to install that my wife did it by herself, and she never does anything like this. It’s supposed to look real good in modern. It has a nice weight to it. It’s very durable. I can tell I won’t be changing this out for a while. All the pictures are accurate in the description.

Top quality from a trusted brand

I expected nothing but the best from Delta and boy did they deliver. This high quality unit replaced a decade old unit in the main shower that had been exposed to hard water for years before we purchased the home and installed a water softener. Obviously this appeared to be an incredible upgrade like trading in an old beater car for that new car smell but the overall fit, function, and appearance of this shower head is top notch. It has a very clean and modern design that still fits well into our farmhouse theme and is built so much better than those cheap plastic shower heads sold at the big box stores.

A top-notch shower set...

The media could not be loaded. This is a fine shower set from Delta, a top manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen plumbing accessories. Delta's customer support is superb and their warranty is lifetime to the original owner. Buy this shower set and you can be assured of years of trouble-free use and great customer service should you actually have any problems. This is how Delta service works: today we got a shower set from Delta with several deep scratches on the shower head. My wife called Delta and after about 20 minutes of being shuttled to the right representative and the emailing of a picture to Delta, a new showerhead is on the way without any requirement of a receipt and without needing the original showerhead shipped back to Delta. Easy, painless and near perfect customer service. This matte black shower set has a dual handle valve allowing adjustment of both temperature and flow via nested handles The real star of this shower set is Delta's Cylinder shower head which has a cool ribbon-like waterfall flow to go with the more normal shower flow and a light pause function. If you get this set you will need Delta's rough-in valve to complete installation. That valve is available here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0040YQ218/. This is a great set at a good price for the quality you receive.

Needs an extra piece

It’s important to note there’s an additional piece that is sold separately. This is just the trim kit. To get up and running you will need the MultiChoice Universal valve rough (R10000 series). The shower head has a pattern circling around it like little tiny squares. If you zoom in on the pictures you can see it more clear. I didn’t really notice at first.
