Always Buy Two
These things fit into the end of the spout of the cheapest Delta faucets. You WILL have to often replace the ones in your faucets if you own one of these models. We moved into our brand new home some four years ago and have three faucets that use them. I have replaced the aerator in all three at least twice or more during that time. After all the building in our addition was over I had hoped the incoming water supply would get a bit cleaner. It has not done so. If you have a water system that does a better job of filtering, you may never have to touch these things. Otherwise keeping one on hand is mandatory when the water flow drops. Why? If one just removes the aerator, water just gushes out to the side or the other all over the place. Replacement is fairly easy with the plastic tool that comes in the package. A small hand mirror also helps. The tool has teeth that slide into the device to remove or replace it. Doing it upside down watching the mirror is a challenge but can be done with a little practice. I am planning to replace the three faucets with better designs in the future. Fortunately , the things are not real expensive. Delta did manufacture their products in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Now you find Made In China on the package.

Great product for removing my Delta aerator
Apparently I did not receive one of these when I purchased my faucet and it works great for my Delta faucet.

Right tool for Linden Bathroom Sinks
Only took 30 seconds to get the aerator off the faucet with this tool! I called Delta to confirm this tool fit my faucet ahead of time, but it actually had fittings for multiple size faucets. Didn't even need the replacement aerator as the original ones were in good shape. Just soak them in 50/50 white vinegar and water and then brush them with an old tooth brush before reinstalling them.

Ahhh...That's much better.
The aerator on our kitchen sink hadn't been changed / cleaned since we bought the house. I was looking for a tool to remove the aerator, and found this kit. So we opted to remove and replace the existing aerator. It was challenging lining the tool up with the installed part, but not too difficult. There were grains of sand (or something) trapped behind the old aerator, so we're glad we chose to replace it. Save the tool for next time.

tough and sturdy, works great on stuck in there faucet aerators
i had a massive calcium deposit issue on my sinks and i bought a cheapo one of these first and it snapped instantly. so i tried this one and it works great! so much stronger plastic, so i was able to get it off using a pair of pliers as a lever. the job was a pain, but this thing made it way easier.

Check with Delta first
We have the Delta Dryden Single Hole Bathroom faucet. When I looked up the part on the Delta website, this is the part number that is listed so I ordered it. Didn't fit. So I called Delta. Turns out, that there are 2 different aerators. One is 1.5gpm and the other is 1.2 gpm. This is the 1.5 gpm aerator. They are going to send me the 1.5 and 1.2 filters to see which one fits. As the mesh on mine is green when I remove it, I suspect it needs the 1.2 gpm. Two more things to know. If you have a Delta faucet, it is guaranteed for life so the parts are free if you call them. How fast they will arrive I don't know but free is free, right? Also, I had a devil of a time getting one of the aerators off. Our faucet is 7+yrs old. So I ended up putting vinegar in a bag with some paper towel, getting it up snug around the aerator, and tying it around the faucet head. The vinegar will help to loosen the calcification. Took some wheaties after that, but I got it off. Don't lose the funny tool that comes with the aerator. That's what you need to take it off and put it back on. (Bad design Delta folks. Aesthetically it looks nice but in all practicality it is a PITB. Back to the drawing board!)
