Pump Seems to be Frequent Failure Point

I've had the Delta faucet and its soap dispenser for ten years! But, every three years or so, I have to replace the pump in the dispenser because the spring weakens and/or the dispenser gets clogged with soap. Its quick to replace, but until I read a different review today, I kept getting stuck buying the pump, straw along with a new dispenser bottle. This seems wasteful, and I think a better-engineered pump assembly would resolve this issue. In the meantime, as someone else suggested, I'm going to try the Kohler Pump Assembly 108773 along with the non-foaming handsoap!

Use foaming soap

If you're buying this to replace a gummed up dispenser pump assembly (the straw part with spring inside) then switch to "foaming hand soap" (that is watery-thin) to prevent this from recurring and is easier to refill, too. If you do not need the bottle, then Kohler 108773 dispenser pump assembly is the same dispenser pump assembly without the bottle.

Was exactly what we needed to replace our broken soap pump. A miracle we could find this part with the pump being at least 10 years old

Replacement part

We bought as a replacement part as our 8 year old under-mount soap dispenser stopped pumping. We replaced our rod with this new one and it works great! Our soap dispenser is like new again.!

Plunger volume is too small

I bought this too replace a faulty plunger but I am unable to pump more than a drop of liquid soap at a time. The barrel of the pump (volume for the plunger) is too small making the pump inoperable
