Cartridge arrived missing the metal screw pictured attached to the control lever.

This part is what the handle set screw tightens against. Amazon referred me to Delta Faucets and Delta Faucets replied that I needed to reply to the amazon vendor.

Hard to find this part, but pretty straightforward to install.

Bought this to replace a leaky cartridge in a relatively new faucet in a house I had just bought. It was hard to find. The faucet model is sold locally only (as far as I could find) at Lowes, and they didn't have the cartridge. Nor did a plumbing supply near my neighborhood. I ordered it from Amazon, the price seemed fair, and it arrived promptly. It was a bit tricky to install properly because it had been a while since I removed the old one and I had .. um ... forgotten a little how it installed. Eventually got it done and now it works fine. The faucet is a nice one. The lack of readily available parts is problematic, but at least there was Amazon. Only 4-stars because it was a little tricky to get settled into place just right so it wouldn't leak, but I'll take the main blame for that. Recommendation: Have some Teflon pipe thread tape and some silicone pipe lubricant handy. I think they help with the seal, and will likely make any future disassembly easier. As a side note, kudos to Peerless for providing a self-paid return package to send them the cartridge for analysis as to the nature of its failure. Now if only they'd reimburse me for the cartridge...

Drippy Faucet cartridge

Bought this replacement cartridge for our kitchen faucet, which was dripping relentlessly after about 5 years of use. The replacement started off fine, but soon (a few months) the resistance started to fade and the dripping after closing the valve is beginning again. Peerless put a pre-paid return label in the box to send the old one back so they can figure out what went wrong (perhaps). I have not done that yet - probably won't as I get enough junk phone calls. Perhaps one day I will open it up and see if I can replace the O-ring with something that has less compression set - hint hint peerless

Inexpensive repair. No special tools required. Loosen set screw using allen key, remove handle, unscrew cover over cartridge nut threads, remove old cartridge, install new cartridge making sure the two projections are seated in the holes on the faucet, tighten cartridge nut, screw on cover, reattach handle by tightening set screw. Done. No plumber required. The Peerless/Delta website has a diagram if you think you need it. Make sure the water supply is fully turned off or the water will shoot out the side--the shut off valve under the sink had to be replaced (which I did not know until I had started the repair.)

Perfect Fit

We have well water and mineral deposits wreak havoc on our appliances. The sink faucet began to drip after a few years because of build-up inside so we decided to repair the valve. This replacement cartridge is a perfect fit & easy to replace.
