It's Plastic

They say nickel finish; it's plastic and has a really telltale fake metal finish. I sent it back. Poor value for the money

Great Build Quality, Poor Spray Settings, Too Expensive

Pros - Nice finish - Build Quality (substantial weight, solid feel) - Easy to change between settings Cons - Spray settings aren't really that good - Price - Pause function drips a lot of water We purchased this as a secondary head for our shower. The full body spray is more of a full body mist. It puts out a decent amount of water but it sprays it in such a wide path it doesn't feel like a lot. Maybe our unit is defective but the "massaging" spray doesn't really massage. It's just a half dozen fairly weak streams of water that come out tightly packed from the middle of the head. At least the massage setting is good for cleaning. Our plastic delta handheld at our old house had more spray settings which were more effective than this model and it was about $150 cheaper (though it obviously wasn't built with the same quality). To do it over again I would look for something that had more effective spray settings.

SHOWER HEAD IS CHEAP - ALL PLASTIC HAD DEFECT

The hose attachment end would not screw all the way onto the shower handle. The threading is over 1/4 inch off on the female hose end and the male threads on the shower head. I have done lots of projects like this before and it is a design issue. Because the end would not tighten water would spray out sideways. In addition, it appears there was a very small crack in the threads on the handle where the threaded part is located to attache to the hose. More water spray at another angle. I would have returned, but I was on a tight deadline to get the project completed. I needed the mounting bracket and it is great, and easy to install and the brackets are not easy to find for JUST the handheld part. The hose is great, all metal. So Went to store and bought another Delta product with just head and a plastic hose and used the bracket and delta hose with the second hear and all ended up ok, but it cost $25.00 more for it to work out that way.
