Quality less than expected

Expected better quality from delta. Replaced what I guess was a higher end faucet. This one smaller, less weight and seems fragile. Had set up appointment for installation so just kept it and hope for the best. Very disappointed. Delta you should be ashamed.

Hot and Cold, but Warm is not so easy to find

The install went okay, and the included plastic wrench worked good, but my old 1/2" shut off valves were (surprise!) the wrong size to fit the new 3/8" compression plastic hoses. Note: these hoses all twist back and forth as the faucet swivels. The lifetime warranty takes some of the worry out of that, but it won't mop up the water if they break. It's a good value because I bought an open box and got it for about half price. Not that easy to use, like I mentioned the Cold and Hot don't overlap enough to easily find Warm, so it takes picky little nudges to get the handle in just the right place to get warm water to wash hands.

Meets expectations - nice looking

We have a well and don't have good water pressure so I knew there would be no sense in getting one of the newer type faucets with the pull down feature or the pull out feature. These all use an aerator and we usually have to remove the aerator because it restricts the flow of water somewhat. I wanted that would look nice and perform well and I found that in the Delta 441-DST Collins Single Handle faucet with spray. I love the single handle and find it easy to use and regulate the temperature of the water. The only thing I don't like is the separate sprayer. It is just too small. The part you press to get the water going is small which makes it hard to hold and handle and the head of the sprayer is only about half an inch wide. That is why I gave this faucet 4 stars instead of 5. I've only had it for about a month now but so far I would recommend this faucet to anyone who wants a nice faucet at a reasonable price. We bought the chrome and I really like it but it also comes in other finishes.

An objective review

The previous reviewers who gave 4 or 5 stars are ignorant; they are uninformed. This faucet is low quality. The outer cover is steel, but everything inside, even the main water tubes are plastic, the base that mounts to the sink is plastic with an outer sleeve for cosmetics. This is a disposable faucet. I was lucky to get a new used for half the price, so I could have been suckered into buying it at a new price. Previous faucet was an older style, 101LF-WF Classic, outdated looks, but better quality at 1/2 the price, and all metal parts. This faucet will do as a temporary application until it breaks. PS - Stop reading all the couch potato handymen or amateurs writing these reviews. We would be better off if these individuals would stop filling up Amazon with fake reviews. We need good objective data for our purchasing decisions. I wish these losers would only write about what they know. My comments seem harsh, but we know someone has to say it. It's hard to hear, but knowing the truth will help you make an informed decision.

Old fashion but perfect

The only way to add a water filter directly to a faucet is it needs to have an aerator that can screw off. They don’t make too many of this style anymore but this is just perfect for my needs. I love the white, matches my cabinets.

Installation was easy; I didn't cut the tubing

Not too many white faucets on the market these days. This one fits the bill. Installation was easy; I didn't cut the tubing, just coiled it as directed. Doesn't leak anywhere. Needed this type of faucet because I use an attachable Pur water filter. After two years the faucet started dripping when we thought it was shut off. Very difficult to get the handle in the right spot to stop the drip. Must watch to see if there is no dripping every time you turn it off. Also, hard to adjust the hot temperature to where you want it. I will call Delta tomorrow. Delta sent a new cartridge for free. It arrived in about a week. Easy to install; works better than original.

Meets my needs so far now that I'm used to it

I was looking for a direct replacement to a older Kohler faucet (that was leaking) in terms of physical configuration. I wanted ease of installation which I got. I found only two choices between Kohler and Delta. This Delta had better reviews. This faucet is low cost with commensurate features. This faucet is much lighter weight than what I replaced - more plastic and less metal content - obviously designed to keep the cost down and still make some money. Now that I have lived with it for a couple of weeks I find some conditions reported in other reviews. The hot/cold adjustment is very sensitive - a hair trigger. Shutting it all the way off is also sensitive. I am now used to it. It wasn't very expensive compared to the many more modern faucet designs go, so I'm happy with it if as long as it continues to operate without leaking.
