Recommend adding support

Overall it is good for what I need. Because it mounts to the rails of the trailer tounge with 4 bolts, my concern is that the plastic may split over time at the attachment locations. I added 1/2" plywood for support.

Great for the money

This box is great for the money. However it can be a little flimsy. Parts of it are thin and worry me a little on strength but for the money you can't beat it honestly.

Lightweight and sturdy.

I added this to the frame on the front of my trailer to act as a catch all for the many different things needed while camping - extension cords, chocks, fire equipment. I had to weld a bracket so it would work for my situation, but if your trailer has appropriate crossmembers, this may not be needed. The box is lightweight, contains screws and washers for mounting and has been watertight for me. I did add plywood to the base of the box for increased durability, but it certainly is not needed. I also added additional hardware to ensure it was perfectly stable on my trailer. It has been fantastic for me. I know some people do say that the locking clasp is cheap due to the fact that it is riveted onto the plastic, however, you could drill out the rivets and install screws/bolts if necessary. My lock will keep honest people out, however, if someone wanted to get into the box, it is still plastic! It does what it's intended to and that is to keep my items clean and dry while camping.

Inexpensive and able to add your own combination lock or keyed lock.

Screws included with toolbox were flimsy, so we purchased our own heavy duty bolts and nuts to install it. So far the toolbox has held up to expectations.

Good quality box.

Suits my needs and appears well built. The supplied mounting lag bolts could have been stronger, one of them snapped during the install and I had to drill it out and replace.

Fix perfectly on my cargo trailer's tongue, good additional storage. Does not interfere with anything. Strong too. I can stand on top of it to reach the top of the trailer

Used it for a different application and it was perfect

I bought this to put in the back of my side by side off road vehicle. It's water resistant but I had to use foam to make it more water and dust proof (it can be very wet or dusty on off-road trails depending on the weather). Love that is lockable. Great value for the money
