I ordered 2. Not plastic. Has a feel of weight and quality. Looks great and easy to install. One of the finials arrived with the screw cocked to the side. I contacted the manufacturer via the email provided through Amazon help. The response was very quick. I had a replacement finial in just a few days. Really nice attitude in the email.

Almost perfect.

I made my 96" curtains with faux silk, interlining, and blackout lining. They are very heavy. The rods are beautiful, but there is a slight sag when the curtains are closed and weight is placed along the middle. Store bought curtains probably won't cause the sag. The rods are near the max extension width, so I don't know if the sag would be less if I used a larger rod and less of its width capacity was used. The savings outweigh the slight sag.

Very nice at a good price

I bought these rods for very lightweight valances so sturdiness was not an issue. They do seem to be well made and the vintage bronze facet balls looked even better then I had hoped. My room is full of antiques and to find something with a "vintage" finish was a challenge.

Sent the wrong finials

I bought this to match the ones I already had (that look like what is actually listed). I really need to get these curtains hung up so I am not going to bother with returning this. LUCKILY it's for another room so it's not as big of a deal but this is not what I ordered.

function and beauty

This item is a sturdy product and is pleasing in appearance . Probably best for a window width under 40 inches . My only complaint is that on one of the hangers , the one screw hole on the hanger adjustment slide , will not accept a screw . Other than that , this is a fine product .

Thin and cheap

I bought 2 sizes: 26-48" and 48-86". For the smaller size the thin bar might have been ok but it's so cheaply made that it sags in the middle. Fortunately my boyfriend is handy and was able to put a screw in there to make it look a little better but it's hanging on by a thread. The large one just looks too tiny for my large window. I like the color and it was very easy to install but the bar itself is just so thing. Shame on me for not looking at the dimensions and realizing how tiny that really was. If we hadn't already drilled holes, etc. I would've just returned them and got nicer ones.
