GORGEOUS Regal Old World Bronze Lantern Sconces!

These lanterns are gorgeous! Very sturdy and a beautiful rubbed oil type of rich brown finish. They are way, way prettier in person and much larger than pictured. I will definitely want to purchase from this manufacturer again.

Order four and there's a slim chance you will get one that is well made.

I ordered two of these to flank our front entry. Despite some of the reviews I read about them being poorly made, I was quite pleased with the first one and felt pretty lucky. I think the second one was made by a drunk person as just about every part of it was totally crooked. The hanging mechanism was off-center, the decorative pieces were lop-sided, the pointy lid thing was tilted.. etc. I'm returning it for a replacement and hopefully I'll get lucky again! I really love the look and I also ordered remote control flame-less candles for inside. UPDATE: my replacement was more crooked than the first one.. Trying again!! FINAL Update: The third one arrived and is still crooked so I just give up. I don't have the energy to continue to exchange them. The packaging is horrific on these too, when you order them singularly. Amazon just ships it in its own box without any additional packaging WHATSOEVER and the lantern was actually protruding through the box (see picture) when it arrived.

Well made and beautiful

These lanterns are absolutely beautiful and so well made. I am extremely happy with them both. The remote works like a charm. I hung them on two different levels of my home. They fit in beautifully with the decor on both levels. You won’t be disappointed if you purchase these lanterns

Covering the stem

I used real cotton balls with husks on the candle base/tray to surround and cover the stem, and they level the flameless candle. The husks look great with the rubbed bronze finish, too!

Very Real Looking and Beautiful With A Flameless Candle

Beautiful sconces. Like a few reviews mention, the material is a soft metal - almost like tin and can be easily bent by hand. But who cares if it just hangs on your wall - very light and only one nail/screw needed to hold it up. The aged patina look is very nice and real looking. The candle holder base does have a little spike to hold a real wax candle but I wouldn't suggest putting a real candle in there because of the material its made from - might melt? Who knows? I do suggest a 5-7" flameless flickering candle with a remote - the effect is awesome!! But you need to cut the little spike off which is easily done with wire cutters.

Lovely Lanterns!

These lanterns are beautiful! They went with a metal wall hanging that I have had had for about ten years and needed something to go on each side of it. These are perfect! I get so many compliments on them! They are sturdy and well-made! Definitely worth the money spent on them! I am very happy with this purchase!

Beautiful and practical

These are awesome, bought three for our limestone interior wall, with homemade wood backing plates. We’ll designed, excellent finishing details, and function perfectly with Amazon Basics 2.8 inch X 6 inch white pillar candles. The cap gets hot enough that you want an oven mitt to remove it before extinguishing (use a candle snuffer!), but not so hot that it is a fire hazard, the shape is cleverly peaked to keep the part directly over the flame furthest away from it.

I bought 2

This is the 2nd candle lantern I purchased so that would tell you how much I loved my first one! The only issue I had was the 2nd was ordered within the month and it went up almost $20...but I really wanted it so there you go.
