Perfect for Scooter Riders

Bought these shoes for my son that rides scooters daily for exercise. This is the second pair he's gotten but only because he wanted different colors. The shoes are well made with a thick sole. If anyone knows scooters and skateboards, they also know the pavement tends to deteriorate the sole of your shoes after you ride so much. So skateboard shoes are the best. They're comfortable and they fit well. The laces don't come untied while he's riding and they're overall a great buy in the shoe department. Don't get me started on the price, they're really reasonably priced for shoes as durable. We'll definitely be back for more in the future.

High quality shoe and possibly a skating one too

Comfy very solid feeling shoes. The foam cushioned sole is really nice as most other shoe companies can’t even put anything decent in. Durable material and a solid rubber bottom makes these shoes actually feel like shoes instead of flat slippers. As a shoe to just simply wear around these are great, but for actual skating not so much, at least for my preferences. Minus the more particular stuff, the biggest gripe is that the large padded pill pattern and rubber of the bottom of the shoe offers very little grip for skating. Even after a good break in period these still felt more slick on the board and difficult to find that digged in edge of grip that’s needed. Perhaps others won’t mind it or some might even prefer it, but for me these will remain a wear around shoe and not a skate shoe.

Good fit and DC shoes are awesome!

I actually don’t want to skate when I’m wearing them cuz they look so good. Eventually I will but not until I scuff them up a little bit.

Pros/Cons

Pros- DC shoe is a good quality shoe. They are made to take abuse and last They have gotten more comfortable over the years Cons- Like i said above you really gotta try different pairs to find the most comfortable Hard to find the ones you may like Heard the DC company is restructuring to financial problems so hard to find their most recent releases.

The price is right, and DC stays strong.

I have clown feet at 5ft10" and size 13 one foot 12.5 the other. These are a perfect fit , but a little tight in the middle - as the arc support is very narrow at the bottom. These I would not consider skate shoes, but theyre made by one of the most reputable brand that do make them. Theyre durable, and flexable. Thanks.

Slightly tight but a comfortable tight.

Should of maybe ordered half a size up but for the price these were an awesome buy! so comfy!! I have an older pair of nike's someone got me 2 years ago kinda a skater look but they even after 2 years of regular use are so stiff and hurt my feet. These wore for about 10 hours straight first day and when i got home my feet were so happy. Would buy this model again but like mentioned half a size bigger. I think i got 10's because 10.5 wasn't available. grabbed 2 other pairs in case 1 didn't fit, since these were the smallest, I think I'll end up with 3 great pairs of shoes! Probably wont need shoes again for 4 or 5 years ahah but yep very happy with my purchase!
