My toes are happy in these
I have wider feet specifically at the toe area, most shoes won't work for me. Prior to getting these I've been strictly buying globe (encore 2), but they don't sell classic black and white designs much anymore so I needed something similar that didn't smash my toes together. These are prefect.

Breaks in quickly & perfect for wide feet
This shoe feels broken in right away. They have great board feel but not much cushion. The width is perfect for wide feet (I get running shoes in wide I.e. New Balance EE) and as the suede breaks in it becomes almost too wide. The laces are a bit too long and ripped easily (also they don’t come with an extra pair of laces). After 1.5 months they completely tore on my dominant flipping foot (I did get a brand new deck and Mob grip during this time period so that affected the longevity) I am considering buying another pair anyway due to how comfortable they were.

If you're wondering if these are adequate for WIDE feet, they ARE!
Having wide feet it's hard to find a good skate shoe. After reading few reviews on this pair and likeing the fact that it's a small San Francisco based company, which is also where I'm from,I decided to give them a try. Knowing that they are suede and probably stretchable I decided to drop my shoe strechers in over night the first night. I put them on in the morning and they felt good. After a few days time they were super comfortable. I stopped wearing them in my classroom, I'm a teacher, because the are SUPER grippy and squeak every time I turned around while working with my students. They are phenomenal shoes. If you've read this far and were wondering how wide is wide for my foot, I'm most comfortable in a 4E width. This review is also based on a size 12 shoe.

Finally a Skate Shoe For a Wide Foot
I have a wide foot and a high arch. It is so hard to find a good pair of shoes. Not to mention, my left is a half size larger than my right. Well, these shoes finally did the trick. I bought a half size larger (9.5, normally I'm a 9 on my left, 8.5 on my right) and they fit great! The toe box is big enough for my wide feet, the tongue stretches to fit my high arch, and the length works without feeling like they are elf or clown shoes. To top it off, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned (that's saying a lot for someone in their 40s).

Durable, high quality, pair of skate shoes
After trying out multiple pairs of skate shoes, I have to admit that this is the best choice I made! I have been skating everyday to get around campus, and so far there has been no sign of tear and only slight wear on the shoes. The quality of this shoe is amazing. It really helps you “feel” the tricks, and I’m able to get more control of my board, and the rubber really grips the grip tape well. It’s definitely worth to get this instead of 2 pairs of $25 lesser skate shoes :)

Great buy!
I bought these while they were $30. They have been one of my favorite skate shoes. They may have turned me into a Lakai guy. They are light and very durable. The pictures above have been after skating for 2 months. They have surpassed my expectations. I probably wouldn’t buy them for $60 but I feel $40 and under is well worth the money.
