Do it! Do it!!
9/10! I really really like it!! I am flipping a house and I wanted to see what butcher block looked like before I spent a lot of money on it and I am sooo obsessed with how this looks. We still are going to paint the cabinets but I wanted to try the butcher block paper!! What I noticed helped a lot was start not on the corner but start on the stove side and work your way out! I also ordered this kit to help lay it down and it was amazing!! I am doing the other side of my kitchen as week. I used about 1 roll for this side.

Good product to cover stained & damaged cabinet
I had a really hard time finding a color match for our cabinets, and pattern match. This beech was about the closest I could get. You can see in the two photos that the Aristokraft cabinet was is a bit more oraney or gold than the DC Fix Beech color. But, it is truly close enough. Posting two pictures here from the same bathroom cabinet. This was the worst damage of all the cabinets we had. Mostly from leaky bottles. The cabinet is made from formed sheets of particle board, and then they have a very thin piece of paper-backed film on them which does not seem to tolerate being wet for more than a short while. When the base of the cabinet go wet, it not only stained the paper; it also caused some unevenness of the surface. I ended up peeling all of the paper off that I could, and then tried to sand it down, but some of the particle board started to crumble. So, I went ahead and covered it with the DC Fix paper, using a template I made of taped-together paper, and a razor blade. I cut the corners, but left the back with a little lip. It doesn't look great in the back, but it looks better than the uneven stained bottom of the cabinet. I don't know how the pictures will look, but there is some noticeable uneven spots, especially on the far lefts side of the photo. That's not the fault of the DC Fix film, but rather of the cabinet underneath. The other photo is of a drawer that also needed some stain covering. The drawer was easier to lay in than the cabinet base because of the size. I did every cabinet we have because we are moving. It took me about 1-1/2 hours per cabinet base -- maybe 2 hours. But the results are better than before. The adhesion is good, but not outstanding in spots where the cabinet may have been exposed to some sort of soap or baby oil. So, I think I may have to get some spray glue and try that underneath. [EDIT: I tried the spray glue adhesive — no don’t do it, totally melted the plastic! Near disaster. Do not use aerosolized spray glue unless you test it on a spare piece. Disintegrated in a minute.] The hardest part of trying to fit these in the spaces was the corners. It was hard to cut it perfectly. Again, not a fault of the film necessarily. The cabinets and drawers had some variation in their shape, and I cut it so there was excess, and then I trimmed the excess after burnishing it down (back of the curved tip of a vegetable peeler worked well. After installing in this cabinet, there were some waves that wouldn't go down. All of the DC Fix film had bubble, and I mostly tried to get the air out toward the edge, but for many, it was easier to air it out with a small razor blade hole. I peeled and reset the paper many times trying to get it right, but it was harder than I thought it might be. the remaining waves were subtle, and they did somehow sort themselves overnight. I think they all look terrific now in comparison to what came before. The adhesion in the soiled corner is not good -- will require some extra adhesive, I think. I may get another roll of this same sheet to cover it with a 2nd layer, to try and disguise the imperfections. I like the pattern, and the material. It seems like the plastic would be less permeable than the paper that was originally in the cabinet. If you are using this, make sure you clean out every bit of grit and speck of salt or sugar crystals. The imperfections are amplified in the final installation, and you don't want to have to undo your sticky DC Fix all over again after you just got it in there perfectly. I really do like this product. I wish I didn't have to use it -- or rather, I wish I had ordered it years ago before the cabinets got messed up. [EDIT: It took us a year to move. And would definitely say that you need an extra coating of clear protective film on top of this if it is going to get wet under the sink with bottles or inna cabinet with oils. It is some kind of thin plastic but somehow not waterproof.] (The review is asking about "sheerness" -- not sure what they mean. Like see-through? It is opaque and meant to be opaque.)

Lasts for years
Covered my kitchen cabinets with this. Lasted for years. It’s on the thinner side, so scuffs and scratches are possible with regular use. But for my larger kitchen, this lasted about 4 years. And for a family of 5 who uses & abuses the kitchen every day, it held up great. I kept an extra roll for touch ups. It was easy to put up, even on shaker style cabinets. Just time consuming since I have a lot of cabinets. The adhesive stays put, and it is kinda hard to remove from my cabinets, but only because of the cabinet style. The shaker design makes it a bit difficult, since there’s multiple pieces on each cabinet door. But it did look legit. I like that it’s not glossy, it has a matte finish so the wood looks more legit. This was easy to wipe clean, just don’t scrub too hard or it will fade and thin out or scratch through the surface. Only reason I removed it, is because it’s time to update the kitchen again. Super convenient for renters or an easy, less mess, & hassle free way to update furniture or appliances & cars. I was going to paint or plastidip the cabinets at first. Glad I chose this.

Great width at 26.5"
Unfortunately I had to return as the color had a little bit more orange in it than I was expecting based on the picture shown. There is already some oak wood in my kitchen and the different shades didn't work work together. I am probably being a bit picky here (too much time working in graphics dept.), but the image of the butcher block seemed a tad bit cartoony, like it was blown up slightly from original size. Not sure it would be noticed by most? I did return it, but wish it had worked for my purposes. It's hard to find this product in such a great width and a good price.

Great product
I love this stuff. I love the color and the butcher block look. I live in an add on room with no kitchen so I created a dry one. I am able to cook on induction, have a fridge and air fryer and the like and I do my dishes in the main house. My 'kitchen' is this style with wood and white. The 'counter' consists of plywood on some glass front bookcases I had. I covered the plywood with this stuff and it looks so good. It's really thick so it's holding up well. I even bought another roll I didn't need just so I'd have it. I've used it to decorate a few accessories and consider it one of the best purchases I've made.

Colors are as shown
I bought this to put tops on white furniture. I'm switching to a beach theme and this looks like weathered wood. It is going to be lovely.

VERY NICE - GOOD QUALITY
I put this up probably a year ago and it looks as good as it did. No curled ends or coming unstuck. Made a big difference in my granddaughter's bathroom. She loves it.

So far so good
Easy to install, take your time and do it slow for best results. As for durability well time will tell. But so far so good, I recommend this product!

Good quality, looks great!
I really liked this vinyl, it was easy to cover up mistakes because of the pattern. It looks great, feels nice, heat helped adhesion. I'm really happy with it. I needed two rolls and ran out of enough to cover the face of the filing cabinet. It's a bit expensive, but good quality.

Looks good
I needed to match a piece of cupboard interior I cut out. I replaced the price with white hardboard and this sticker on top, the results are great and almost seamless looking

So easy to use
We had no issues at all with this roll. The adhesion was excellent, not too sticky but it could restick easily if you make a mistake. It’s easy to cut, especially with the grid backing. The finish is very nice, it looks legit. We bought a nice shelf that said it was black/brown, but it turned out that it was actually just black hardware and very red brown shelves that didn’t match our furniture at all, so we decided to try to cover the shelves with this, and now it looks like we bought it this way, and it’s a huge improvement. I’m certain no one will ever know we laid down the vinyl ourselves because it looks professional. Will def buy again if I need to cover another surface.
