as long as your rolls arent crushed, youre fine

i bought 3 rolls of this to redo my kitchen counters. was plenty to cover it all, they all had easy to follow guidelines to cut to size on the back. they stuck to the cleaned counters very well, and yet still pulled up some if you needed to realign or push a bubble out. the markings on them are eye catching yet bright. sharp printing. easy to cut off edges and easy to clean up. no complaints there. HOWEVER. 2 of the 3 rolls had clearly been crushed either in shipment or at amazon. so there were creases and folds. i thought once it was actually stuck down it wouldnt be a visible issue.. but you can clearly tell which rolls were the crushed ones. i did blast a hair dryer on those parts, and it did make it a bit less noticeable (i dont have a heat gun). but that was my only complaint. if anything, make sure if you have a crushed roll, you put that half to the BACK of your counters where things like jars/toaster oven/microwave, will cover the imperfections. if you open your shipment up and see crushed rolls, send them back. dont open them and try like i did hah. if your rolls are perfectly cylindrical, they work wonderfully.

Perfect quality, if you have the skill

This stuff is so perfect. Sticks well, looks gorgeous, doesn’t look pixelated, cuts easily with normal scissors… but like other comments, it is very difficult to work with. You need so much patience and maybe a second helper? Someone said to remove the sink… idk how to do that so I didn’t… but I’m sure I would’ve done a lot better if I took off the sink. I have a few wrinkles (not bubbles, wrinkles) that do not go away even if you lift and try to re-stick. One is directly in the middle under the sink. That’s going to bother me forever. But it was the best I could do! I may attempt my other bathroom counter as long as I have help.

Pain but worth it

I have curved edge countertops so it's hard to work with but I like the look. From far away it almost looks like quartz. I might redo the areas I messed up but I really like how it turned out. The paper is thick and the gloss makes it look more realistic.

gorgeous- but certainly not easy

in renovating my bathroom, i saw this and thought it looked so beautiful i just had to have it and yeah, the end result does look pretty nice. BUT THE APPLICATION i was super excited because its just a sticker right? who can mess up a sticker?? me. thats who. when the sticker you need to cut is still about as big as you are, this project is a struggle. its actually really hard to lay a giant sticker properly. like extremely difficult. like, i kinda wish i just tore out my old coutertops and built new ones instead because that would have been easier type of difficult. it took me 5 hours to lay this damn thing and its still not right but lets be real, if any of us could afford giant real marble countertops, none of us would be reading these reviews, and i could have made it easier on myself.... so heres what i learned: -if you got it right, tape it down with masking tape. no reason to mess up whats already done well. -it doesnt matter that some other amazon reviewer said they worked around the sink with ease, you need to take the damn sink off instead of trying to cut around it and apply it at once. -save your pieces and keep track of the cuts. you might just end up having to do a marble jigsaw puzzle like me after a bad cut -a not so great corner can be hidden with a meticulously placed houseplant -clear tape is your best friend on the edges. -dont forget to silicone. this was a pain in my ass mostly bc i didnt know what i was doing, the product itself is good and the end result is good. but damn i wish i knew those things before i started lol

better than even expected

I have never done a DIY. But I wanted to change the look of a simple desk top in a room. It wasn't worth investing a lot of money and I thought I would give this a try. It takes a minute to get the hang of putting this on without getting air bubbles. But once you get into a groove, it's pretty easy and fun. Two things; I probably wouldn't put this on a main piece of furniture in my house, just my opinion. And I would get a roll that is long / wide enough to not have a cut line. Although I am sure there are people who use this all the time and make it look perfect. If you are a newbie like me, keep it simple or you may not like the outcome.

Looks great

Covered dated scratched and chipped work surfaces in my rented flat. Easy to apply and lift if you need to reposition it. I used a store card to push out airbubbles. Wouldn't stick to the underside of overhang despite using cleaning alcohol before hand so had to get my glue gun out! Looks great though and didn't take long, just needs a bit of patience

Not very sticky

I had used another kind to cover the top of my coffee table,but didn't like the seam down the middle so I ordered this wide one.it is thicker than the one I used previously so I thought it would be better, but as we were doing it it pretty much lost its sticky surface.So where I wanted to use it as a wrap,I couldn't because the edges wouldn't stick,I did get it on top of the table (had to cut it), But I'm really not happy and will have to do it over. The pattern is pretty and maybe if you are doing a smaller project that is flat and you very carefully only expose the part you are using it may be ok.
