Weirdly Quiet Operation

First off, please read the 1 and 2 star reviews. They are not reviewing the product- they left crummy reviews due to an error in the description stating that the diverter for a hand-held shower is integrated in this valve set-up. The orange big box home improvement store has the same misinformation on their website. Danze's specs for this item clearly states "Optional Personal Spray and Personal Spray Rough-In Sold Separately". --END OF RANT-- Seven or eight years ago, we installed https://smile.amazon.com/Danze-D236158BN-Single-Lavatory-Brushed/dp/B01BFHSW2O/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2WIQHJINFO2VP&keywords=danze+parma+bathroom+faucet&qid=1580065850&sprefix=Danze+Parma%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-3 in our master bathroom and have loved them since day 1. During a recent remodel of the bathroom, we opted to keep them and get matching fixtures for the jetted tub "Danze D305658BNT Parma Roman Tub Faucet Trim Kit" and shower "Parma® Shower Trim Kit D512558BN. Both of those are only sold as a "TRIM KIT" and require the separate purchase of the valves in order to install them (unless, perhaps, you already have Danze by Gerber fixtures). When I learned this, I decided to look into getting something similar to, rather than matching, the existing faucets we love. That way, I thought I could avoid having to buy the valves. While I found that there are a number of options (something in most of the major brands) that would have matched, I also learned that just buying the trim was going to be far more expensive than both the trim and the valves of the Danze fixtures. I know... it doesn't make sense, does it? Particularly when the Danze products are made almost entirely of brass and not nearly as much plastic as other brands. Anyway, since a plumber was going to be installing new pipes and relocating things while the walls were opened up, it wasn't going to be any more expensive for him to add the Danze valves... so I went with the option that saved money in the long run. Thank goodness Amazon Prime had all of the needed valves so I could get them into the plumber's hands quickly. I am very happy with the decision, especially in light of how quietly the water flows now. Even on full blast!

Purchased to Use With The Opulence Collection Tub Faucets

Danze in general makes good quality fixtures, these also seemed to be made of nice hefty materials. They were easy to install, the directions were clear and easy to follow. I had not problems installing them myself. They have been in place about 6 months and I've had no problems with them since. I got a good deal on the faucets without the Rough in Valve and Amazon had these at a good price which made getting them separately cheaper than having bought them together.

Easy to install

Easy to install - The black "cap" for the center (faucet) is used to accurately measure the height of how far it should stick up above the surface of your tub - so don't throw the black cap away until you're finished installing this. Build quality is great. They do include a small roll of white tape as well.

I usually go with Delta for my faucets but decided on Danze for my tub. There was a trim kit that had the look I wanted and something similar in delta would have been hundreds more. Can be mounted in material up to 3" thick. Everything is heavy and feels well made. Had no trouble with the install.

Error in description of trim kits it will handle!

There is an error in the description of this kit, it does not fit Roman tub kits with a spray attachment and needs a diverter. I called Danze and they are sending the correct part. Hope this will fix my problem. Danze customer care is awesome.

Danze does it again

This valve was part of a replacement roman tub faucet replacement. One needs to have the handles and faucet trim kit and the valve kit. I had a professional install it and am glad I did as it was a tight fit into a corner. It works very smoothly.

hello everyone, About the product well to begin with I find the quality is reasonably well. If you are a do it yourself kind of person it is a pain to fabricate a piece that interconnects to join to the supply line. I have purchased the D306957PNVT Faucet set. the center piece meaning the faucet itself has to sit higher in order for you to place the seal and bottom plate. I had to fabricate a inverted "Z" like piece to be able to install that together. Well, that Idea did not work because of the total distance which was less than 2 inches in between. Only thing I was able to use was a 12" flex hose and place it in like a pretzel so I don't kink the hose. Although it does not seem professional but it works. All in All this thing took me forever to install, you are paying quite a bit of money considering it a valve comes incomplete because you still have to buy more thing to be able to use it Or return both the valve and faucet set, and faucet was something I wanted to keep. So, I had to find a solution.

I had to give at least one star to be able to review Really no stars in my opinion Diverter did not come with valve assembly as advertised Diverter is only part that wears out and is what we needed I will be sending back valve assembly Do not buy!!!!

DOES NOT come with the diverter for taking a shower. Valve must be purchased separately, and is not listed as to which one I need. These cartridges do not cost that much, they should have included it as advertised.
