Worked for me, but misreported measurements
Rod length is 7.5 inches (camera angle makes it appear longer) Ball diameter is 18.4mm wide as the other user mentioned -1 star for incorrect measurements reported by the manufacturer for this product (in the Q&A section). I have compared it to the "DANCO (88532) Universal Pop-Up Drain Ball Rod Assembly" with the largest ball in that kit (same size, 18.4mm). The reason I could not use the universal pop-up drain ball rod was because the length from the ball to the end of the rod was shorter (by a little) than the one on this product. The extra length allows the sink to pop-up more and therefore allow for faster water drainage. If the 7.5 inch ball rod length is too long to fit between the drain pipe and sink counter wall, then the only option may be to cut some length of the metal bar off. Heat may help. There also may be a seller selling a shorter one, but I have been unable to find one.

Good Product - No size listing is not helpful
I needed a pop-up with a ball that is about 15.3mm (~5/8"). Reviews on this site stated that the ball was 5/8' - but using a Vernier Caliper, it shows that the ball is about 18.4mm wide, or practically 3/4" [Angle is slightly off in the image - making it look different that 18.4mm]

False Advertising. It's steel, not "durable brass." Incomplete description too.
This replacement rod is advertised as "durable brass construction. " It's actually cheap steel and will readily rust. (Just test it with a magnet.) The only reason I ordered this product, and I ordered 4 of them, was to replace my heavily-corroded steel ball rods. Those rusted from brand new to almost nothing within 7 years. Rusted rods also act a magnet for hair, etc. Needless to say, I returned the product. By comparison, the old brass ball rods we had in our previous home looked almost like new after over 19 years of use. No wear and no rust. Also, the product description lacks the diameter of the nylon ball. Pivot rod balls come in 3 sizes. The diameter of these nylon balls is 5/8-inch and will only fit sink drain assemblies with matching 5/8" concave nylon or plastic bushings.

Is not actually "universal"
Does not fit on my sink. Does not appear to be made from brass. Ball is 5/8", so it was too big. Also, overall length was 7 1/2", so it was too long. Doesn't appear to be better quality than others at the home improvement store, but is certainly more pricey.

Not universal
This is not universal. The ball is too big for my standard drain. People in the reviews say the ball is 5/8” in fact the ball is 3/4”.

Do not buy. Waste of money.
The ball on the ballrod is slightly larger than the standard size and no matter how much you tighten the grey plastic nut/collar to secure it, it leaks. I even tightened it with channel lock pliers and it wasn't stripped but no luck. I also couldn't use my existing metal collar because of the larger ball size either. You would think there's no way to screw up such a simple piece of bathroom plumbing but this product failed.
